Wasn't even looking for a coffee machine but this women is awesome! I have watched loads of your videos... hell, I might even buy a machine. You're cool. Keep spreading the good vibes.
If one is not plumbing the Mozzafiatto Evo R machine, what kind of water is best recommended to the avoid m flashing of the power light due to the absence of minerals?
Question. I have this very machine. While not extracting the chrono shows a square wave. It us on almost constantly. When the machine teaches it's temperature it sometimes it disappears but just for 1-2 seconds just to come back on and stay on for a little while. I notice the one on tvr video is off. Does if mean that more is faulty? Is it over heating?
This has the flat sides and the giotto has curved sides that stick out a little. I believe R is for rotary and V is for vibration. If you don't plumb, I think the benefits of the rotary are that they are more durable and long lasting and more quiet. I'm no expert, but I've been researching which one I should buy.
Great job on the videos Gail. If you flip the lever to the top right away does it automatically do pre infusion as part of the brew cycle? If so, what is the advantage of the 45 degree pre infusion feature?
Karthik D Better to put that money into a decent burr grinder and use a moka pot instead of bothering with proper espresso, if you’re interested in a long term and effective investment. If you like milk based drinks and enjoy steamed milk start with a cheap’o espresso machine from the goodwill with a steam wand. Move up to something better if you wanna upgrade after getting technically savvy getting that nice micro foam. Personally I’m saving for the giagga Classic pro. Alessi moka pots rule 👏
Karthik D. Why do you want an espresso machine at home with that little money? If your budget is really tight, than you should buy manual espresso maker, I recommend Flair Espresso. With Flair, you can make good espresso but still you should invest on espresso grinder like Baratza Sette which is excellent entry espresso grinder but kinda costly for your budget. Alternatively you can use ROK grinder
@@idixon5168 Thanks for the insight. I came across this machine "DeLonghi America, Inc EC685M Dedica Deluxe espresso" not sure whether its good for the buck . Any suggestions ?. Thanks in advance
@@sriwahyanibudianingsih1534 Ya, my budget is tight and i wanted to make espresso/ cappuccino in quick time . I think manual takes more time to make, but heard that it really makes good shot . Currently i can across this machine "DeLonghi America, Inc EC685M Dedica Deluxe espresso" which is exact 250$, not sure whether this worth of buying . . any suggestions on machine/ maker or any other machines. Thanks in advance
Mine arrives today. I forced doing home office on a purpose because I wanna be here to sign that FedEx paper and get it! 😀😀♥️ keep up the good work, I love SCG!
I'm not sure what to think about shot counter....it's more fitting than PID in your face but if they have gone big lengths to keep aesthetics of manual chrome bomber....probably they could use mechanical dial or knob to show seconds....you know, with that buzzing sound of mechanical film camera timer)) pity that would add a hundred or two to price so take it as is.
ECM and Profitec both have good looking PIDs on their higher end machines. Rocket could go that way rather than the incredibly dumb PID hidden behind the drip tray (you need to see it FFS) or the PID pod on the R58/60 - why do you want a dangly bit on a beautiful machine? Please no app though.
The wand was too deep inside of the milk jug. It should have been way closer to the surface. That's why the sound was wrong and as a result the milk got very hot too soon and of course no crema. You would think this lady knows that after making so many youtube videos . But no, she does not.
I just bought a Jura E8 and LOOOOOOVE it. I know this is not that but I had to toss my two cents out there. Get that! It does it all for you so you dont mess up the drink.

How long does it take the machine to reach ideal brew temp from cold/off?
20-30 min

heyy planning to buy one, are you happy with it? have you had any problem or fault yet? hope you did not!
Do the extra water from the solenoid go back into the reservoir? I believe that's what Lelit mara x does.
What's the difference between this and Giotto? Also if I don't use plump, what's the benefit of R vs V?

More control about the duration of pre infusion:)
What is the grinder please?
That's a Eureka Mignon Specialita!
Great video. Thank you. You’ve made my mind up for me. Biting the bullet on this one.
Is the timer version of the mozzafiato a us version, because i can't find it in any europe store?
Thomas same here! Bought the non timer Version last month 0-;
@@keasone but we have still a great espresso machine.
Love the design of this machine so much.
@@Thomas_8490 you're so right mate!
The timer versions are coming to Europe. Bella Barista are waiting on new stock.
Will the R58 get a timer too?
I am pretty sure that the next version will get a timer too. it would be interesting to know when the new R58 comes out.

Can I have your battlefield 5 if you dont play it anymore?
How is the Rocket treating you? I'm looking at getting this myself.
you need to go just past the 45 to get the "pre infusion", at 45 nothing comes out.
Reservoir holds 2 litres and no more. Yes I measured mine.

See than chunky piece below? That's a rotary pump, not second boiler!

Exactly what we don't want...
Putting the PID under the drip tray is one of the dumbest design moves I’ve ever seen. It’s like putting the speedometer in the glovebox.
