Flushing the automatic transmission without a transmission flushing device on a 722.9 transmission.

Flush the automatic transmission and torque converter without a transmission flushing device on a Mercedes Benz NAG2 722.9 7G-Tronic transmission similar to WIS AR27.55-P-0100A. Change transmission oil filter, then flush with approx. 15-20 liters of fresh ATF oil. The automatic transmission 722.9 is also installed in various Chrysler and Jeep models, especially when Mercedes Benz was still called Daimlerchrysler.
This was a 4-Matic transmission, but that doesn't matter because the transfer case is only flanged to the rear of the automatic transmission and there is no oil connection.
About the costs, about 100€ for the oil, about 65€ for the filter set from ZF, about 80€ for the filling pump, brake cleaner, cleaning cloth. Everything depends on which 7G-Tronic you have, VGS 1, 2 or 3.

Hab mein 5g ohne Hebebühne Öl gewechselt. Altes Öl raus ca 3 Liter+ gleiche Menge über Peilstab Öffnung rein, warm gefahren, Öl raus, Wanne + Filter raus und PNRD durchgeschaltet wo nochmal Öl nach kam weil im Wandler noch Reste sind. Alles neu und Öl nachgefüllt bis Peilstab Mitte war von der Markierung bei 80grad.
Fährt sich danach ruckelfrei wie Butter und Diff Öl hab ich dann auch gewechselt alles von Fuchs Öl.
