The fact that a real conversation regarding funding or anything else can not be had by the elected officials because of time limits is beyond absurd. This is why we must have single item bills and votes. There should never be one hundred plus items buried throughout an omnibus or any other action.

I have recognized I didn't have the best highschool economic education, but from that same inadequate public school education I learned the basics. Too many dollars chasing fewer goods means things go up. Also meaning those things go up in price because people are willing to pay more for said goods, because of scarcity. If highschool graduates can't understand that. It's something seriously wrong with the schools. The fact it got that far is sadly amazing.

Sad part is I learned a sh*t ton more about trigonometry in comparison to basic economics(a class that could be taken upon election, not mandated) & yet which of those 2 plays an integral role in daily life of myself & the avg American? It's like they wanted us to fail from the get-go..
A big problem is the teachers themselves honestly. People love to pretend like the poor, underpaid teachers are just so exhausted but in reality most of them never gave a single crap to begin with.
I've said for years schools need to start teaching basic life skills again. People need to learn how to cook those $5/dozen eggs. And if they taught basic economics in school, these kids would also know why those eggs cost $5/dozen.
Call them out Chip!! Hold them accountable
