Literally, I've sesrch all around and caught headache's. But this guy and Alexis are the best out here. I'm literally watching all of their video's and gaining knowledge from them.
    Thank you guy's a million times over.

    By far the best channel for new CPTs... Mind Pump is awesome for science and knowledge but Sorta Healthy is so clear and concise plus makes everything seem so achievable

    Thank you for presenting an example of a realistic pricing structure. I’m tired of seeing all these videos from “high-ticket” coaching gurus pushing trainers to only offer $4,000/month programs. Most average people can’t afford that.

    great videos as all the content you put out there. as new PTs its incredibly helpful and one of a kind as most PTs wont so easily share their experience and knowledge setting up their business

    You guys absolutely rock man. No-nonsense, bullshit free advice for the industry. I'm at the beginning of my journey, and have watched hours of your videos and it's helped me really dial in what the best practices are, and made the muddy waters a lot clearer! I was going to jump straight into online coaching, but I'm now seriously considering at least doing some in-person training part time while I grow the online side of things, something I hadn't even considered before! Thanks for everything guys!

    Great video. What do you think about the idea of creating a Facebook group open to the public attached to a certain city or community where you can host free weekly videos and post regular tips as a lead generation tool?

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Personally, I think a more effective idea for leads would be to create a page for your business (or you as a trainer), post content on it like you mentioned and then share it around local Facebook groups that are for the community. That way people won’t have to join the page but they can still see the information and start seeing your name/page pop-up.

    Hi!
    What website/app do you guys use or recommend for accepting payments for online program purchases, etc.

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      For in person clients we use square and Vagaro. For online clients we use Vagaro and trainerize. I believe that trainerize gives multiple ways for your clients to pay. We’ve had good luck with all of those options so far!

    • @maddie_atletica
      @maddie_atletica 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just discovered trainerize as well. A bit overwhelming at first, but I’m sure it’s nothing practice won’t fix!
      From 1-10 how satisfied are you with the trainerize website and app?
      Do your clients have to Pay to access their programs as well?

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say 8? We like it but there are definitely a couple things that sometimes glitch or aren’t super intuitive. Our in-person clients don’t pay for additional programming through Trainerize however, all of our online clients do need to pay and stay up to date in order to access their programs.

  • @kszela93
    @kszela93 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I’m just starting out so I’m charging around $100-200 a month for the mid tier option but it provides some of the perks you have listed in the high tier Option. I respond within 24 hours, I provide weekly check-ins, a resistance training program. cardio recommendations, adjustable workouts, and macros. Thanks so much for this page , I understand there’s some variables left out here but on the surface what are your thoughts on this as I am a new trainer? Is it reasonable and do you think I’m asking too much/too little? Thanks!!

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think that sounds really good! It sounds like you’re providing your online clients with great accountability!
      When just starting out, you may not really have different tiers/offers-probably just one or two that can evolve over time!

      You’ll need to use some kind of payment system such as Square, Stripe, or PayPal where you can send an invoice.

  • @Alyy4
    @Alyy4 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So I should ask if they want a program or in person training? If so what’s the charge for each

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      When they contact you, you should have an idea of what they’re looking for in advance. We separate our online offerings and in person offerings completely.
      Online training and in-person training are going to be very different pricing depending on what you’re offering, where you’re located, etc.
      We have a couple videos on pricing your in-person services that might be helpful to check out.

    I make programs that can be used for 1+ years, on top of offering weekly checkins and and I'm not sure what I should charge. Every video I come across discusses "12 week programs", but dont dive into really long term programs. According to the videos about the subject I should be charging 3k+ but I don't think anyone would buy it, or am I missing something lol

    • @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation
      @SortaHealthyTrainerEducation  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you’re coaching alongside the program, I would personally drip programs to clients as they progress/continue on. I wouldn’t provide them with a years worth of programming up front.
      You can structure it however you prefer-monthly, 3 months, 6 months, or 8 week/12 week, etc.
      Average rates for online coaching depend on what you’re offering, how much communication you provide and how you provide it, etc but I would say average rates have gone up a bit. If you charge $250-300 a month, that would be $3000 plus for the year.
