one word- STUNNED! my trainer told me to look this video up, and Totilas took my breath away! at the begining, when he goes from passage into a "normal" trot, it was more of a medium! he has soooo much power and scope! my trainer has interviewed the rider, Edward Gal, for the dressage book she is writing, and he said that Totilus is so easy, anyone could ride him! also amazing is that he isn't even a leggy, lean horse, more heavyweight than usual. im just stunned! x

I honestly cannot express in words how much I appreciate that you've listed the tracks you used here. Seeing this freestyle significantly changed my life. I am forever thankful. I really can't understand why you're not creating freestyles for every high performance dressage competitor. I know if I make it to grand prix and can afford to, you will absolutely be the first person I would ask to create a freestyle for my horse.

Excellent job on the edits, well done. Althought it does explain why some of the transitions aren't quite right... like the extentions that start on the short sides :D.

The Trot music is "Equinox 4" by the same orchesta.The walk music is "Song from a Secret Garden" by Secret Garden. The Canter music is Vanessa Mea's "Emerald Tiger" and "What Shall we die for" byHans Zimmer. Thanks for all your compliments and keep supporting Edward and Totilas. Thjey deserve it! Happay 2010!!!
A few months later this horse is scoring an incredible 89.4% at an international show (Hickstead). They can't be that wrong?!? Totilas' performance is out-of-this-world and getting better!!!
Thank you!!!! This horse definitely has the potential to be amazing but right now there are some serious issues going on, like hind legs and front legs not moving together in the extension. Then there is the fact that there really isn't any true forward trot in the test, it is all very "passagey". I think the freest trot seen in this video is after the halt when Mr. Gal lets the horses head go and allows him to move forward.
I love these comments from people who think they know more than international judges! So typical of folks who are at the stage that they think they know everything and actually know very little!

Would I be correct in guessing that the music in the Extended trot and half pass is an orchestrated version of Jarre's Equinoxe 4? If not, I appologise, it's just that it sounds remarkably similar.
What do you know? you can't even spell Dr. Gerd Heuschmann's name correctly. Edward Gal is one of the greatest riders modern dressage has seen. He produces wonderful dressage horses without inhumane means, and the horses are OBVIOUSLY happy to be doing their job. Look at Moorland's body language - hes attentive and willing, not to mention relaxed. If he was being forced, he would be tense and the majority of his performance would not be as fluid and phenomenal as it is.

The Dutch Championships are held as a CDI event and are therefore judged by FEI standards.
