    Aint that some sh!t...next we'll see a usb AC.
    How durable is it to snags and getting broken in harsh environments,etc?
    It would be great for being stranded in your vehicle for a couple days.

      I wouldn’t plan on putting it straight on the ground, the nylon-outer shell would get easily punctured, but for indoor use, or tent should be fine.

    Thanks for the review. Been wondering if it might make sense to rely on a heated blanket at night instead of heat pump in the winter.

      Seems like it would save money! I like a cool home, but it does make it hard to get out of bed in the AM LOL

    I don't get it, I just got mine and it hardly heats up at all. The button is on red and it's been on for about ten minutes and it's only slightly warm on the one side,it has to work better than this,am I doing something wrong? I want to try everything before I send it back, but it just seems to be a piece of garbage.

      not sure... have been using mine for a few months without issue. I'd contact them and ask for a replacement maybe?

      Did u get it resolved im still debating ordering one

    • @byerenny
      @byerenny 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I had the same experience. I resolved it by simply using a fleece blanket. Just as warm/er as this blanket was for me and no power needed.
      If I wanna get more serious, I'll place a Walgreens heating pad inside for a few minutes, or a hot hands for a non-electric version, inside of my -25°F sleeping bag.
      Always get a cold weather rated sleeping bag first, people. ALWAYS. You can place an electric blanket on top of it later if you wish, but only AFTER you buy the bag first. USB may just not be ready to tackle the heating department quite yet. 12 volt/110 elec blankets I would assume provide better heat, but use more power. Most of the time I can just wear socks with fuzzy lined crocs, a good house robe (whilst channeling your inner Dude), maybe a beanie, and a fleece or wool blanket and be good. Certainly warmer than this blanket for sure and not chasing an electrical outlet to recharge yet another battery.

      Thanks for the comments. I was wondering how warm the blanket actually gets and where the exact heating spots are located within the blanket. Got the info I needed from these comments. Thank you

    hello,is this warm blanket washable?

    • @PreppingWithSarge
      @PreppingWithSarge  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the question. Officially the website says this: “the highest quality heated blankets are machine-washable and dryer-safe. A temperature over 60 degrees and an electric blanket left on for more than an hour will reduce dust mites”
      Personally? I have stuck with a (very) gentle cycle and low heat/air spin
