Bloody hell 😳 I just found out about these guys. I've been listening to metal since the early 90's and I can't remember the last time I felt this excited to discover a new metal band.
Been listening to metal since its inception … hands down Orbit Culture is my favorite new metal band in ~40+ years. The powerful and mindful creation of message and music is light years ahead of others. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I recently went to one of their concerts, while they were touring with other bands. They were the first ones to get onstage, and opened with this song. And I had been a while since I attended any kind of concert, so I know I won't ever forget that first riff, just one guitar, then two seconds of pure silence, and then *boom* . The other guitar comes in, along with the bass and the drums. My friend and I were caught so off guard. Pure head banging for half an hour. Wish it had been longer
When I seen them back in February they closed there set with this song. They were not the opener, they were the support band. I seen them on that tour with machine head and fear factory
I mean, the production is good - but I think sleeping next to ones instruments is of a Tech Death thing :P Orbit Culture is relatively easy to play (but that doesn't take away from the music).
I consider myself a pretty seasoned metal consumer, and I saw (and heard) these guys for the first time yesterday. They performed in Stockholm, as one of several warm-up acts for the main attraction - In Flames ( the other warm-ups being Imminence and At The Gates). This track definitely left an impression on me and I think they outdid the others, even In Flames.
I’m a 51 year old metal head since 1983 and this band is a game changer. This the best new band I’ve heard since Gojira 15 years ago. Stunning. I haven’t heard a song that isn’t a 10/10
I'm 48 and i'm in 100% agreeance with you. There's just something special about both Orbit Culture and Gojira. Before those 2 bands my favs were Meshuggah and Fear Factory .
Man we all are OG metal heads!!!! I’m 53 and this fucking band ROCKS HARD!!!!!!🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 Love this song and their sound!!! Hope to see them someday!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
That riff is so simple but POWERFUL and so full of weight! Especially with the breaks in the beginning. This band is gonna get so popular by the time Descent comes out and continue to grow!
After 2 months of this song being stuck in my head, l realized that the main riff is actually Hardwired with a twist. Which makes it even more awesome!!!
Just saw these guys open for Trivium a couple days ago, it's always a great thing when you want the opening band to stay on for longer. These dudes really do sound like they've picked up where Gojira left off with their Mars to Sirius/Way of All Flesh era but with their own unique spin on it. Really cool shit.
A lot of bands have forgotten how to handle breakdowns in a way that keeps them interesting, fun, and hard hitting. Happy to say, Orbit Culture still knows how to do em right. This song is an absolute slammer from beginning to end. Simple and easy to follow but intense and satisfying all the same, and a great way to make their return. Excited to see what comes next. Also, pretty cool video. Nice touch with the logo appearing in it too.
What I love about this particular song is that it really isn't that hard to play. Anyone can do that. It's the piecing together of the song that makes it flow so well. That takes talent. It comes at you full force....then the breather of the mid-section....the slow build back up....and then finish out with the all the parts and the synth effects supporting the song. Orbit Culture just takes song structuring to a new level. They're heavy, but don't wear down the listener.
I remember listening to the Orbit Culture's first releases and I couldn't understand whether I like this band or not. There's something I couldn't wrap my heard around. Time passed and I realised that the energy of the music is undeniable and this is exactly what makes me (and probably all other people) to come back. The song structures and riffs seem to be simple at the first glance; however, the more you listen the more you understand it's not true. Beside that each riff makes you headbang like never before, there are some arrangement tricks here and there that make songs spicier and tastier! Orbit Culture deserves way more attention and appreciation, and I wish the band only the best in their endeavours! Hope to catchy you on tour one day! Keep it brutal!!!
In early days OC wasn't at this level, vocalist has evolved or changed the way he does vocals, because at first it was as if James Hetfield made a new band or something :D It was basically Metallica if it was faster and lower, or just heavier in general. Now OC has evolved and found their shtick, vocals are great and unique, riffing is mind blowing, double bass drumming 👌that is going on almost for non-stop through the songs... And as you said, energetic, because they just go on like a grinder without stop. If there is a stop, it's to take a breather, give those palms and legs a rest for a bit, and then keep on grinding till the end. And the best part is that it's not some chainsaw riffing, like some Black Metal and Death Metal. This is actually very enjoyable. Even in moshpit parts you can still enjoy instead of having this chainsaw blast-beating and shredding guitar to which you can only moshpit, since a lot of bands that involve a moshpit portion in the songs, you can't really headbang to those, to me those are calm parts I can't do anything but to wait till it ends and starts the headbanging moments. Another thing is the intensity, it is in constant intensity in this song, one factor is because of the background whining, high pitched sound, screeching, that goes on as the blasting and riffing is happening.
Don't know how is it possible that guys literally deliver with every song since Nija album. Hope next album will be at least on par with Nija (which is a blast, can't stop listening to it). Oh well. Who am I trying to fool? Of course it will be, 'cause it's Orbit Culture ❤️
Never mind how good the song is. The music video is absolutely insane, love it! 3 favourite bands are Orbit Culture, Trivium & Be’lakor and I get to see 2 of them live at the same gig this month, can’t wait to see this song live and break my neck in the process!!
przesłuchałem ten kawałek już ponad 100 razy i nadal mnie rozpierdala, jest po prostu wyjebisty, ta kapela jest WYJEBISTA, tworzą świetny materiał (I've listened to this track over 100 times and it still blows me away, it's just awesome, this band is AMAZING, they make great material)
Best melodic death metal band right now. If the whole album is going to be something similar to this, holly ****. If they move this path, they will become headliners in festivals sooner rather than later. Enjoy everyone. Irresponsibly. Do not limit the count. So here we listen to this song again and again...!!!

This has actually grown to be my favorite song for a long while now. The more you listen to it, the more you appreciate it. How many songs can you say that keep the verse AND the chorus AND the bridge/breakdown AND the ending interesting? Usually there's always a "weak"/boring part... well, not in this one! Every single part energizes the shit out of me. Thank you so much Orbit Culture!! Please, keep this amazing music coming.

I swear these guys sleep next to their instruments and write bangers at 2AM, they just pump out amazing song after song
The writing at 2 AM might be true. 😅
Yeah, it's ridiculous how everything they produce is good.
Pump out poor lyrics.
Beware of the antlers... Really ameteur lyrics.
