Hope you enjoy this review! Let me know if you'd like to see more comic book reviews. Also any suggestions on what you want to hear specifically in them would be helpful. I kept this review a little "generic" but that's because I didn't want to spoil the experience for you in case you want to pick up and read the book yourself. Thanks again for letting me grow and try new things!

I have this channel vlog series that I just started and it has nothing to do with you, but your consistency inspired me to start. I have followed you for a VERY long time. And...You and I see eye to eye on TMNT. Thanks for keepin on.
For anyone interested in reading this comic after seeing the review: you can currently get it digitally for $6 on Comixology (as part of their Batman day sale).
I liked the Batman and Daredevil comic book crossover. Batman and Judge Dredd crossover was also pretty good. X-men and TMNT would be pretty cool also.
Please review the cartoon network crossover comic, it had the powerpuff girls, Dexter (laboratory), the Eds, and Samurai Jack teaming up to fight all their villains. It was awesome
Yes, more Black Nerd Comic Reviews! I got a couple of issues of this series and read the rest online, will need to buy this trade. And Andre, the way you hold the book to show us the pages almost gave me a heart attack lol, hold it from the sides, not top and bottom!
Just finished reading through my 6 issues, then immediately watched your review. I really enjoyed the story. I like that it left off with a hint at maybe more to come.
Awesome! there was a crossover two years back (I think) which was the DCU/Masters of the Universe. I liked it for the fact that it actually featured the DCU instead of JUST the Justice League. It also wasn't a spin off as well, it actually continued an arc within the Masters of the Universe comic.
you should totally do more comic reviews! Also, and I don't know if you're into anime all that much, but they had a crossover miniseries of Cyborg 009 and Devilman a few years ago. Those are two classic superhero properties from Japan so it might be up your alley.
Andre it's a dream come true! The turtles are injustice 2 and there is a sequel for this comic! Also I think you should check out Harley and Ivy meet Betty and Veronica
Another great video Andre! I love these comic videos and love this series. I can't wait for the animated series one. I've been reading comics most of my life and suggest you read more!
Andre what TMNT comic would you request for someone who wants to start reading TMNT comcis, I did read these crossover and it was amazing, it also had some touching moments
If you want the history, the Mirage comics are the way to go, but I would hightly recommend the IDW comics. They've been out for a while so you can buy them in volumes (4 comics per volume) in order in trade form. They also have special trades featuring one-off stories for each of the different characters.
They're coming out with another one!?!? That's awesome!!!! I actually bought the comics when they were coming out individually but I'll keep it in mind to buy the hardcover because of all the variation covers that are actually in the book so thanks for the tip.
I'm proud of you! ;p I LOVED THIS STORY. I've been hearing on the vine that they may make a sequel. The art is fantastic. My favorite part is when Mikey presents the slice of pizza to Batman. lol He says something like, "Pizza is the thing that connects us all together." Also Leo and Batman training together was cool. And Donny having a freakin' nerdgasm over the Batcomputer. XD
Along with the Mega Man/Sonic and TMNT/Ghostbusters crossovers, you should also check out the Amalgam series, where they fused Marvel & DC characters into new entities (i.e. Batman + Wolverine = Dark Claw, Superman + Captain America = Super Soldier, Storm + Wonder Woman = Amazon, etc.). GREAT concepts in there (and Lobo The Duck, too).
Have you read "Ghostbusters Get Real" yet? It's basically Turtles Forever/Transdimensional Turtles only with the Real Ghostbusters and the movie/IDW Ghostbusters. It's a great little story with some fun jokes, references, and interactions. Ending is a little disappointing, though, just because of the nature of who they fight against together in it. Also, you totally need to pick up the Super Mario Adventures reprint in October and give that a review. :)
excellent review!! this was definitely my favorite Cross-over i've read in a LONG time!!! this even took my top spot away from the Batman/Spawn cross-over written by Frank Miller and drawn by Todd McFarlane.
This comic volume looks fabulous and I will totally be buying it and reading it for myself. Also, if they are going to make a volume two maybe Batman will crossover to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe with one of his villains. Plus, Andre I would love to see a crossover between the DCAU Batman and the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon characters in comic book form.
hey andré, do you think you will get the BOOM power rangers comics? or maybe you already got them. I just bought the first 5 volumes and they are great, they are no crossover comics but i really would recommend them!
Didn't even know Batman Day was a thing. Also, the whole "same comic series but sometimes different art-styles" happens with IDW's Transformers comics.
IDW's Cartoon Network "Super Secret Crisis War" is the ULTIMATE cartoon crossover comic, would highly recommend checking it out if it's available in trade c:
I love this comic, my favorite part was when Ra's Al Ghoul was under estimating shredder saying this guy can't even handle 4 turtles cut to shredder mutating every supervillain in Arkham Asylum
one of my favorites sadly only own half of is Darkwing Duck and Duck Tales. the whole Darkwing reboot comic is a lot of fun in fact. You may also enjoy TMNT /Ghostbusters
Cosign. The Teenage mutant ninja turtles actually cross over with the ghost busters, as well as the real ghost busters cross over with there movie counter parts.
Andre, even though it's not a crossover comic, I highly recommend that you read Bone. You can even get the One-volume edition, in black and white or in color, that contains the entire story in one shot. I guarantee that if you try it you'll love it.
Wow I actually have to pause the video and come back to it later. They started Releasing the Directors Cut, which I picked up a copy of the first issue (amazing), and the other issues are supposed to be coming out. So I'll watch this another time. But if you get wind of a comic series you really want to check out in the future, talk to your local Comic shop about setting up a pull box. They'll actively order the comics for you, and you pick them up.
i need Archie comics to team up with Nintendo to make a Mario\ Super Smash Bro. comic so we can a IDW Vs. Archie comics crossover just think Transformer,MLP, GI JOE, Ghostbusters and TMNT Cross Mega Man ,Sonic and Mario now that would be a dream match :D
Happy #BatmanDay, Andre!! There is a new LEGO Batman poster. Batman gets one day of year while THOR gets Thursday. Spider-Man and Punky Brewster. Wait...that happen already on NBC Saturday morning preview special in 1985. Spider-Man and the Muppet Babies. Wait, again...happened already on an episode of Muppet Babies with a live action Stan Lee, some nerds believe should be in canon somewhere.
I do not know why but i think it would be awesome if in the nickelodeon tmnt some time when the turtles are fighting some one the randomly break through an apartment wall and there you are Andre starting a video and u fan boy over them being there Best cross over ever!!!
Well if you want another IDW crossover check out Ghostbusters Gets Real where the movie Ghostbusters, or rather IDW's version of them, meet their Real Ghostbusters cartoon counterparts. It's a really fun read that has both sets of GBs in character AND directly ties into one of the Real Ghostbusters eps! Like you with this trade I could not put it down once I started reading it. Great stuff!
if I remember correctly you did a video about Archie vs Predator didn't you? It rarely happens, but I look your comic talks (maybe also because I read comics even seldomlier than you .P) I haven't heared of the animated Batman TMNT crossover yet, so please do a review of it as well when it's out!
This crossover seems just wrong to me , I mean the TMNT origins story is a parody of a MARVEL character's origins story and I think it would be more fitting if the TMNT guys met Dare Devil .
What if DC and IDW mash up different hero's with the turtles for each volume? (e.g. superman, flash, Harley quinn) Also, you gotta review Black Panther volume 1 for WAKANDA
Ghostbusters and turtles already happened and Batman vs Predator happened years ago. Either you haven't a clue or you're trying to seem like you have this genius idea knowing damn well it already took place....I'll guess the latter
Well, there is a particular crossover that I have never read but I know it's good... and its name is JLA/AVENGERS! And there are other DC/Marvel crossovers, they even created a universe where there are characters like Super Soldier (Superman-Captain America) or Dark Claw (Batman-Wolverine)... That universe is called Amalgam Comics. For me, it's cool seeing the Justice League fighting the Avengers, so I think you'll enjoy that (if you manage to find the comic books)
GI Joe Vs Street Fighter just happened. Those comics show you out how hard it is to defeat an oily guy, that ninjas don't have honor cause they're cheaters, and somebody wanted to finally find a way to give the Air Force some serious bragging rights.
Hey Andre, any intention of covering DC's He-Man/Thundercats crossover drawn by the same artist? It starts hitting shelves next month. www.dccomics.com/blog/2016/07/08/mattel-and-dc-present-he-manthundercats
The Ghostbusters/TMNT crossover was amazing. But not much can beat the Usagi/TMNT crossovers. ❤️ Did you hear that Usagi is coming to the 2012 series? Do you know if this is true?
A comic crossover I really enjoyed was Star Trek/Green Lantern: The Spectrum War, but I think you would need at least some knowledge of the Lantern mythos to really enjoy it, so I don't know if it would be the perfect comic for you, but I enjoyed the heck out of it.
when you mentioned that the book ends with Batman and the Turtles splitting ways, it got me wondering... do you think Batman ever misses people that he might consider friends?
Hope you enjoy this review! Let me know if you'd like to see more comic book reviews. Also any suggestions on what you want to hear specifically in them would be helpful. this vid opens with you going batty.
*+Andre "Black Nerd"* if you want a good crossover definitely check out marvel vs DC, it's hella short but it's worth the read. No question
Andre "Black Nerd" ...Review the Panther Black. I beseech thee!!! (And yes the word play was intentional)
Dude, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle/Ghostbusters crossover is awesome. Totally recommend it!
Totally beat me to it.
Be sure to check out the Ghostbusters/TMNT crossover comic from a year ago or so. A lot of fun to be had in that miniseries!
Tell me, do you READ? .....you will.
The Bat is Read. Library it.
Best comment on TH-cam so far! 👍

Happy birthday!
Thank you for the happy birthdays!
Music Man What day is your birthday? Sorry I am late

I'd LOVE to see a TMNT v Super Mario Bros crossover (them Marios have a lot of explaining to do , what with beating up on Turtles and all , huh??).
+Sammy Lane I'd like to See Superman teamup with Mario
I have this channel vlog series that I just started and it has nothing to do with you, but your consistency inspired me to start. I have followed you for a VERY long time. And...You and I see eye to eye on TMNT. Thanks for keepin on.
what's up Andre. what happens IF the turtles are cross-over with daredevil. because they were expired by Daredevil so why not. do u agree?
and I'm forth
For anyone interested in reading this comic after seeing the review: you can currently get it digitally for $6 on Comixology (as part of their Batman day sale).
I liked the Batman and Daredevil comic book crossover. Batman and Judge Dredd crossover was also pretty good.
X-men and TMNT would be pretty cool also.
alien vs judge Dredd vs predator is going on right now I'm very much enjoying it
I think Robin would be a better combination, being a teenager, and trained in martial arts.
I would love to see Spider-Man and the Ninja Turtles crossing over.
Please review the cartoon network crossover comic, it had the powerpuff girls, Dexter (laboratory), the Eds, and Samurai Jack teaming up to fight all their villains. It was awesome
I want a TMNT and Invader Zim crossover. Please? They're both Nickelodeon properties...
YES! Two of my favorite shows :)
Yes, more Black Nerd Comic Reviews! I got a couple of issues of this series and read the rest online, will need to buy this trade. And Andre, the way you hold the book to show us the pages almost gave me a heart attack lol, hold it from the sides, not top and bottom!
A new comic is coming out with the Nick turtles teaming up with Animated Series Batman.
Busted! You commented before watching the whole video, didn't you? ;)
I was right a whole time, DC Superheroes should teaming up by Nicktoons Unite with TMBT 2012.
Just finished reading through my 6 issues, then immediately watched your review. I really enjoyed the story. I like that it left off with a hint at maybe more to come.

Another great video Andre! I love these comic videos and love this series. I can't wait for the animated series one. I've been reading comics most of my life and suggest you read more!
Hey Andre!!! Suggesting Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog X Mega Man Worlds Collide (2013) and Sonic the Hedgehog X Mega Man Worlds Unite (2015)!!! 👍😊
+Erik John Aque Just bought the complete saga at Comic-Con.
its batman lost it wheel not brooke its wheel
+Andre "Black Nerd" You're more of a Nostalgia Critic then Doug
Andre what TMNT comic would you request for someone who wants to start reading TMNT comcis, I did read these crossover and it was amazing, it also had some touching moments

Dude, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle/Ghostbusters crossover is awesome. Totally recommend it!
Thanks Andre. Good review. Waiting for my copy in the mail! Can't wait to read it.
the Spider-man/Batman Cross over in the 90's was really good that had Carnage and Joker with killer art by Mark Bagley
excellent review!!
this was definitely my favorite Cross-over i've read in a LONG time!!!
this even took my top spot away from the Batman/Spawn cross-over written by Frank Miller and drawn by Todd McFarlane.

Celebrated by playing Arkham games lol

Awesome review.
i really have to get this crossover and read one and two.
To carry on the TMNT theme the Ghostbusters crossover comic is actually really good as well
that christian bale voice lol
Wow I actually have to pause the video and come back to it later. They started Releasing the Directors Cut, which I picked up a copy of the first issue (amazing), and the other issues are supposed to be coming out.

I have that second photo you showed at the beginning of the video as my home screen wallpaper
Andre this was awesome. As a comic book fan; PLEASE DO MORE COMIC REVIEWS. I recomend Batman: Court of Owls. Perfect starting point
I'm surprised you havnt done a video on the collected hardcovers of the Smurfs... or have I just missed it?
i need Archie comics to team up with Nintendo to make a Mario\ Super Smash Bro. comic
so we can a IDW Vs. Archie comics crossover just think Transformer,MLP, GI JOE, Ghostbusters and TMNT
Cross Mega Man ,Sonic and Mario
now that would be a dream match :D
you should do reviews on the Power Rangers comics by Boom. Let's get IDW and Boom to do a MMPR/TMNT crossover.
Obviously Archie Meets Batman because we know Archie is all about those weird crossovers
At this point, I'm honestly surprised Archie hasn't done it yet!
@@BlackNerdComedy Archie met Batman 66 lol this year
Andre you should consider reviewing the Ninja Turtles Ghostbusters crossover comic book from IDW. it has also been collected into a trade paperback.
I do not know why but i think it would be awesome if in the nickelodeon tmnt some time when the turtles are fighting some one the randomly break through an apartment wall and there you are Andre starting a video and u fan boy over them being there Best cross over ever!!!

Great stuff!
Dude, Sonic and Mega Man, Worlds Collide and Worlds Unite. Drs. Eggman and Wiley teamed up against their respective blue tinted foes? Most awesome!
cool video! I recommend that you read Justice League vol. 1 origin. the art is drawn by the legendary Jim Lee.
does it have Batman s Shredder. that's a combination i never i wanted but so interested in!
Andre, there's a cross over coming next month that you should check out: He-Man and the Thundercats! I can't wait!
5:00 sounds like a lot of fun
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters was pretty good as well.
The whole thing(4 issues I think) is great. The dynamic between Ralphael and Batman was awesome
You have an awesome job man! Keep up the cool stuff!
if I remember correctly you did a video about Archie vs Predator didn't you?
It rarely happens, but I look your comic talks (maybe also because I read comics even seldomlier than you .P)
I haven't heared of the animated Batman TMNT crossover yet, so please do a review of it as well when it's out!
Andre did you read the Ghostubsters crossover with TMNT? that's one of my favorites
i want that 'totally awesome team-up' panel as a Poster. i want to frame that.
I think you should read the thunder cats and he-man comic that I think is coming out soon
Where do I get one!!!????
This crossover seems just wrong to me , I mean the TMNT origins story is a parody of a MARVEL character's origins story and I think it would be more fitting if the TMNT guys met Dare Devil .
Have you read it? Didn't think so. Also...who the hell likes their own comment? Smh
Diane Smith I read it and I still stand by what I have said .
Probably one of my fav comic crossovers is spawn and batman. Really good stuff!
I had no idea Batman day was a thing.
You need to read the main IDW comics for TMNT. They have them in volumes in hardcover. They're really good.
What if DC and IDW mash up different hero's with the turtles for each volume? (e.g. superman, flash, Harley quinn) Also, you gotta review Black Panther volume 1 for WAKANDA
TMNT meets Ghostbusters! Or Batman vs. Predator
Batman did meet predator...
and TMNT Ghostbusters did happen
Ghostbusters and turtles already happened and Batman vs Predator happened years ago. Either you haven't a clue or you're trying to seem like you have this genius idea knowing damn well it already took place....I'll guess the latter
yeah was making suggestions for what ones he should check out...
+AvidSuRgE Wolverine vs Michael Myers
are you planned to do the review of the crossover of the ninja turtles with the ghostbusters?
Well, there is a particular crossover that I have never read but I know it's good... and its name is JLA/AVENGERS! And there are other DC/Marvel crossovers, they even created a universe where there are characters like Super Soldier (Superman-Captain America) or Dark Claw (Batman-Wolverine)... That universe is called Amalgam Comics. For me, it's cool seeing the Justice League fighting the Avengers, so I think you'll enjoy that (if you manage to find the comic books)
I loved this comic. I smiled every time Mickey interacted with Batman and Alfred.
I'm currently reading Predator vs judge dredd vs aliens, only two issues in so far, seems to have enough potential.
I heard about Batman day but then completely forgot about it...😂 should've written it on my calendar.
I just saw this comic a few weeks ago, this is the best comic crossover since the Megaman/Sonic Archie crossover. Happy Batman day!
I heard the hanna barbera universe that DC is doing is pretty good. Theres a comic where space ghost crosses over with johnny quest.
This was a fun review Andre! Speaking of TMNT crossover, did you read the TMNT/Ghostbusters one? It's pretty fun too!
Can you review the Power Rangers Pink comics too?
I believe that can be arranged. Going to be reading the MMPR comics soon so I can talk about them as well.
😎👍🏾
I got it! It is amazing!
Mr. Freeze as a Polar Bear is so cool!
Pun intended
Holy crap I bought the same thing when I went in for Batman day! Pumped to read it
Perfect purchase! I think you'll love it!
If you enjoyed this crossover , you would also enjoy the Ghostbusters TMNT comic crossover. I highly recommend it.
Andre did you know that there's a ghostbusters/ ninja turtles crossover? I couldn't find a copy, but from what I hear it's really good.
looking forward to the comic book crossover between Batman: The Animated Series and the 2012 TMNT cartoon.
when you mentioned that the book ends with Batman and the Turtles splitting ways, it got me wondering... do you think Batman ever misses people that he might consider friends?
Yeah would be cool have a Killer Croc and Man-Bat (mutants) vs the Turtles mutants like letherface.
Interesting - anybody else think the artwork looks like the same style as the art from SNES version of "Turtles Tournament Fighters"?
