I added so many new books to my tbr so thank you for that~ can’t wait to read some of the books you’ve mentioned. I read The House in the Cerulean Sea mainly upon your recommendation and I loved it so much!! Definitely one of my all-time favorite books now~
I bought The House in the Cerulean Sea with a gift card I got from work because of your rec, and knowing it's a happy AF book makes me want to pick it up even more 🥺
Agree with everything you said about The House in the Cerulean Sea! Love that book so much! I keep telling everyone it just felt like it was enveloping me in a warm hug the entire time I was reading it. One of my new favorites of all time for sure.
I love your videos and I simultaneously dread them because I’m trying to whittle down my TBR and you have too many good recommendations for me. I’ve made 0 progress and the blame is solely yours lol But I finished A Curious Beginning and I’m on the second book now. It was such a great recommendation!
I don’t make videos but here are my answers to the extended version of the tag! 1. Best book you’ve read so far in 2020 - Frostheart, book 1 by Jamie Littler. I just thought it was so cute but still held a valuable story about being brave even when times are tough - foreverbooks18.blogspot.com/2020/02/frostheart-frostheart-1-by-jamie.html?m=1 - my review! I’m really looking forward to the sequel! 2. Best sequel you've read so far in 2020. Royal Assassin, #2 in the Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb! Most anticipated release for the second half of the year - www.goodreads.com/book/show/49397758-grown#bookDetails - this is ONE of them! Crown by Tiffany D. Biggest disappointment - I think this has to go to Assassin’s Quest by Robin Hobb, unfortunately! I absolutely LOVED books 1&2 but this just let me down... foreverbooks18.blogspot.com/2020/06/assassins-quest-realm-of-elderlings-3.html?m=1 - my review. 6. Biggest surprise - Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone by JK Rowling - I was NOT expecting to enjoy this, but I ended up loving it! Yes, she might be in the news for the wrong reasons at the moment but that doesn’t take anything away from her books for me, at least! foreverbooks18.blogspot.com/2020/01/harry-potter-and-philosophers-stone-by.html?m=1 - my review! 7. Favorite new author. (Debut or new to you) - Michelle Harrison, who wrote A Pinch Of Magic! This Middle-Grade story is just so wholesome. Newest fictional crush. - Ron Weasley! Do I really need to explain why? 9. Newest favorite character. - Lunah from Frostheart by Jamie Littler. My review is already above for question 1 but I loved how adventurous Lunah was. 10. Book that made you cry - I never cry when I read! But towards the end of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban made me feel really sorry for Snape, who’s my favourite adult character so I’ll go with that! 11. Book that made you happy Harry Potter and the Chamber Of Secrets! I can remember reading and enjoying this as a child. I didn’t quite remember how MUCH I enjoyed it so it was nice to reflect back! 12. Favorite book to film adaptation that you've seen this year The Hate U Give (THUG!) I really enjoyed this sooooooo much more than the book! 13. Favorite review you've written (booktube or written) foreverbooks18.blogspot.com/2020/04/royal-assassin-2-of-farseer-trilogy-by.html?m=1 - I’ve already put this above but the review for Royal Assassin by Robin Hobb is my best written review of the year so far, I think. 14. Most beautiful book you've bought so far this year (or received) The City We Became by N.K Jemisin because my Waterstones edition has BRIGHT PINK sprayed edges!!!! 15. What books do you need to read by the end of the year? Oh sooooooo many, we’d be here for days if I put them all...but a few are, • the other Harry Potter books as my main 2020 bookish goal was to read all of the Harry Potter series! • some more Middle Grade books for Believathon 3 in November! • and finish rereading the Blackbird manga series by Kanoko Sakurakoji. I should be able to complete all of those challenges too! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻.

I can’t wait to read The Library of the Unwritten and The House by the Cerulean Sea. The Lightning Struck Heart by TJ Klune is one of the funniest books I’ve ever read and the audiobook is amazing💙 Agnes at the End of the World sounds so good. I haven’t heard anything about it so thank you. I need to try out something from Grace Draven soon🌻

I agree with Crier, the way she acts and thinks are emotional and lyrical. Even though, I get why Ayla’s the way she is, she’s just not fleshed out. As for Sid, I love her too, but will also stay away IRL. I think it’s the desire to have that kind of confidence level rather than being around someone with that personality or attitude.
Riley im reading Every Heart a Doorway and Im really liking it so far! Do u plan on reading Entreat Me by Grace Draven and Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo? Also I think u will like Discworld books by Terry Pratchett. I think its right up ur alley and u can read any book in the series as ur first book. Also, I watched The Borgias bcz of u. I keep putting off reading the The Library of the Unwritten because I know the sequel comes out later this year. I can't wait to get to Agnes at the End of the World because I love a cultish book.
