I love this! One of the things I would recommend is Gossip's Talent. The level 2 would make even the Hull Clade unblockable. If you feel like taking it to level three, you get LTB and ETB triggers plus now you have the creature untapped again for defending!
you need to re-read Azure Beastbinder. you could have attacked into the slasher and shelly as they cant block it. and you would have nullified their abilities.

I tried something similar with bedrock tortoise. The problems I had with it are that the tortoise is very easy to kill and then you're back to be passively defensive.
I was hoping they'd reprint something like castle so fecund greenshell could be a thing. I'm definitely building a teenage mutant ninja turtles decks 😂😂nice upload❤

Yeah it is pretty all in on the tortoise. You could add some protection spells like Snakeskin Veil.
