I took the OET twice, scored B on all sections except reading in which I scored C+ and C. OET is fast paced and some of the vocabs in the listening can be quite competitive since it’s not profession specific. And the reading part is tricky and not directed at all. I took IELTS before without knowing anything about it and scored 6.5 on all sections without even knowing the structure of the exam at all which is fairly ok. On the other hand the speaking in OET is an easy B if you’re speaking the language every day with patients, colleagues… DON’T EVER GIVE UP. I know people who have done 5 or more IELTS just to pass. And remember always to be proud of yourself whatever the results are.
This is what I tell people. It just depends what you are comfortable with. I have done both and I do not think that one is easier than the other .I think that they are incomparable.

Do you know how or where i can get that done? In canada there's a separate system for that. But i can't find something like that for uk. All i got from my university is a PERCENTAGE.

Got an overall 7.5 band in IELTS in first attempt but my reading section band was marked 6.5 band only. Thinking to attempt Oet now.

Once you get GMC registration, that is sufficient for your work visa. You don't need to show OET or IELTS then.

What's exactly the difference between UKVI and academic. Marking or pattern or what?
Used to be only UKVI could be used for the UK visa, but that's no longer the case.

I did my internship elsewhere as at that time UKFP was restricted to UK grads.
I tried ielts multiple but missing writing module by 0.5 grade. So should I try oet?

It's not a bad idea, but just remember that OET has a two year validity.
