Nobody could ever sound like Bon Jovi, you are the. REAL thing. Thank you for being unique. Nobody compares to your band!°

You can clearly see in his eyes, that this is not just a song, but a message to the music industry

I love this song-not just because of its pure awesomeness, but also its message. I couldn't agree more with Jon's speech before the song: the music industry is now computers, defeating the original purpose of what music is supposed to be. Rock on Bon Jovi, way to make a difference in a dark time!

He hit the nail on the head; the roboticized industry robs the real talent of opportunities they deserve. A machine cannot discover true talent.

just recently stumbled across this song, i LOVE it. no desire to here the "metal" version of it. Jon said when he wrote it that he was looking for the circus sideshow feel, and i think this version of the song adequately portrays that feel. As to ego, i think they can afford to have some ego. They are after all one of the highest grossing rock bands of all time, having earned more than 1 billion dollars to date.

There's no crime in liking both versions. The slower, acoustic version is better for a smaller, more intimate crowd. The rocking version is a great opener and great for a large, arena type crowd... or even a good sized bar that normally gets rock acts. It's certainly the version i would do in the Bonjovi Tributeband.
But i really like both versions

This is why they're always going to be one of the best. They're the masters of entertaining AND sending a message at the same time.

What Bon Jovi said here speaks true to what is happening to the music industry nowadays, 19 years later.

I LOVE THIS VID!!! This Left Feels Right is AMAZING! This song is a dear favourite, and I love the way they've re-done it. Bon Jovi are the classic example of a band who has been through it alll...The 80s...90s...2000s, and have remained as popular as they were 27 years ago. They're a band that will always have the same loyal and die-hard fans, and I pride myself on being one who supports their music.
Also, I adore the way Jon quoted 1984 at the start! :))

I'm afraid you're wrong. It was written in 2003 for This Left Feels Right along with "Thief of hearts", but in the end the band decided to stick onlyto the reworked versions of the hits, and the new songs were dropped. Later in 2004, these songs were released on their original versions on the boxset.
Finally "Last man standing" was reworked as a rock song (making the exact opposite they did to the hits for TLFR), and released in Have a Nice Day in 2005.

Come see a living, breathing spectacle
    Only seen right here
It's your last chance in this lifetime
The line forms at the rear
    You won't believe your eyes
Your eyes will not believe your ears
Get your money out, get ready
Step right up, yeah you, come here
You ain't seen nothing like him
He's the last one of the breed
You better hold on to your honey
    Honeys, don't forget to breathe
Enter at your own risk, mister
It might change the way you think
There's no dancers, there's no diamonds
No this boy he don't lip synch
    [Chorus]
    Here's the last man standing
Step right up, he's the real thing
The last chance of a lifetime
Come and see, hear, feel, the real thing
See those real live calloused fingers
    Wrapped around those guitar strings
Kiss the lips where hurt has lingered
It breaks the heart to hear him sing
The songs were more than music They were pictures from the soul
    So keep your pseudo-punk, hip-hop, pop-rock junk
    And your digital downloads
    [Chorus]
Take your seats now, folks. It's show time.
    Hey, Patrick hit the lights
    There's something in the air
    There's magic in the night
Now here's the band, they really play
I'll count the first one in
    I don't know where it's going
We all know where it's been

I was lookin for good clear sound. Good job! You got the best! Thanks! Love this song. It tells a story as they are best at. The Real Singers n Musicians. Today music is so fake. If you can't do it live with no "special effects" you are not a musician. Keep your jlo junk n your digital down loads!!! Keep your digital "enhanced" crap. Keep it Real. If you gotta digitally record to make your voice decent you ain't shit. Keep it! Give me Real Rock!

that was ten years ago..now Ritchie is gone.it was ok that he sang all the high notes that jon cannot hit anymore..but to bring in a a guitarist who also sings jon's parts while jon just sings the low harmonies is just so disappointing.we have expensive premium tickets for two shows in Australia..i now wish we didn't bother..jon will probably call desmond child back to write the next album.it will never be the same or as good.

Really. What happened to music?Thank Jon,Richie,Tico,David and Hugh for being our personal time machine to travel back in time when music and songwriting were all that mattered. Now,boh I don't know....it's just noise from not so well educated ears you don't even have to know how to sing.
