The actor didn't want to play Ty anymore. There are not many options. Replace the actor (?) -> Not that easy. Pay more so the actor doesn't want to leave (?) -> Budget. Cancel the series -> Not because of one actor, they keep the show going till they can't earn money with it. Killing the caracter was the choice
