- Today I am here with celebrity stylist and wardrobe specialist Allison Bornstein who has helped me put together a bunch of fall and winter looks!

Allison describes these looks and the pieces that go with them as a capsule collection, and most likely these are pieces that you already have in your closet. Allison really helps break these outfits down piece by piece and teaches us how to integrate various pieces and transform them into different looks.

Allison also breaks down dressing in what she calls “bases.” The first base is the first thing you put on before you style it up. And for me that always means jeans and a tee. A different base, what she calls base two, would be something like a trouser or a bodysuit.

Dressing is really such an extension of your personal style and personality and I think it is so much fun to play that up and mix and match different pieces. Thankfully Allison worked around what I love most in terms of colors and textures and it was so much fun to work with her on this!

I love this! Thanks for posting, Emily. I think Allison’s terrific as she makes multiple options which are inspired. I think the use of blazers is great because the looks didn’t become too corporate & everything blended so well together.
seeing a model with a (beautiful!!!) but normal figure makes me feel so much better about myself. I just started modeling and I‘m stressing so much about my 94cm hip measurements. Seeing her thriving and looking fabulous really does something!

Allison is such a good teacher
I like the idea of base looks. The blazer is back, thank goodness, since I have so many. All of this works for me too. Not sure about the pure white, maybe because it is hard to wear for some people. Love the rust colored sherpa coat! 👩🏻💖

I loveeee those last few looks with the cropped sweater over the skirt! I totally need to do that more bc I have abandoned my dresses since it got cold! Also I am a teacher lol so it's fitting.

I absolutely loved loved this. I have been trying find something like this for a while now. I am a big lover of blazers, so seeing many tips on how to make it even more versatile was definitely great.
