If the serial number starts with an E its a 2005 model and the first 2 numbers would be the month its made. If the serial number starts with u.s. for ung sung the first 2 numbers are the year it was made the next 2 numbers would be the month. Ung sung i believe took over production in dec of 05. Mine is an E made in june of 05.
Mine is a August 2005 in deep red, put a Gotoh 1996T with brass block in it, 100% better than the floyd that was in it and a Warman Destroyer bridge pup. The neck is superb and sounds superb.

I've got a dime'o'flame from 2006... Arrived perfectly in tune, killer sound and can't fault it... Can lay into it and use the bar all day, doesnt go out of tune 🤘
My only issue was there was no c shape volute behind the headstock, and these guitars light enough for neck dive. But I had a Korean 79 and it was always a beast. If you can try to find the last of the Dime guitars made in India, I recommend those.
They are amazing to play. Low action, good sustaine. I wished they made more "normal looking" guitars hough. The matt heafy model comes with the best bridge humbucker I have ever heard. It's so good that I won't sell the guitar. They are almost impossible to buy today too.

Just managed to buy a 2008 ML79 from the same Un Sung factory as the one you presented here, no stickers though :) amazing instrument, super low action after a thorough fret job, to a point where the strings snap and slap the fretboard from being so low, bun no buzz anywhere and no dead notes. Hey that's an awesome Import my current deans 2010 ML AT3000 and 2015 Stealth are both from Unsung Korea and they're perfect. Just got a 2012 Dean From Hell CFH China import. Came with a Bill Lawrence USA XL500 and some Dean branded neck pickup. You think it's a decent guitar?
Serial numbers that start with E or US are made in Korea, and the year will be right after. For example, if your serial number starts like this "US07" it will be made in Korea in 2007
Can someone please help me find the easiest and most cost effective way to get a floating trem in a dean dimebag guitar with a hardtail bridge and the metal V shape over where the strings come through the body I have access to a machine shop if I need to route holes or pockets I’d prefer something like a Vega trem but if there is a similar option that’s cheaper or keeps me from having to route that would be nice

I had the 79' ML that looks pretty much the same as this and it was a killer guitar even though it was made in China. It had a tragic ending though when my drunken mate stumbled and fell into the guitar neck that was leaned up against my 4x12 stack :(

Yeah they're great for the price! Neck shapes were a little inconsistent between models, but the guitars have always felt so solid overall.

I have a 2011 Made in Korea FBD ml ...im not sure if that one is still good? What determines whether its good or bad in particular?
Any idea on how to identify the year on the Korean made Dean ML's. I recently purchased the same Far Beyond Driven ML in excellent condition.

Wilde XL500 is made by Bill's wife and daughter, and on the same machine that wound the originals that Dime used.
