Ive been thinking of getting these also, i wonder about the intergrity of those new bolts compared to the stock ones, with them being such a cheap price
@@maxx_life exactly, if you feel they are not up to par you have options especially at that price point although I’ve seen many people run shogun frame sliders without problems.
I have some on my wife’s 400 there are lower profile and don’t stick out so much, with yours I would be worried it would torque and bend in a simple tip wrecking the bike more. Especially in a slide situation. Is that the case. You just want slides to stick out just past highest point of fairings. Every bike should have these for the unexpected low speed tip
I can definitely see your point, funny enough I did drop her for the first time after installing. I was completely stopped in the parking lot and tipped over. Fortunately, I can confirm it did not bend on the left side and protected the bike real well, no scratches haha
Hey dude, I know this video is quite old, but maybe you have some advice. I went to install these on my 2024 Ninja 650, and there is barely any room for me to grt my hand in there to secure the nut on to either of the bolts. I'm kinda stranded until I can get this done. Please help if possible.
@@JeffreyMcFarland-b6y @JeffreyMcFarland-b6y yes, do one side at a time for sure. For the nut, when trying to put it back in place, make sure you out the nut where it's supposed to go before putting the sliders all the way through. Once the nut is in place, hold it there and tighten the sliders all the way. Once one side is done, do the other. If you don't do one side at a time, the engine will sag heavily and you're gonna be pretty much fucked without anything to lift it back up.
@@JeffreyMcFarland-b6y my mistake was trying to put the nut in place after the sliders were all the way in. Pretty dumb mistake, but I figured it out lmao.
Tried this but the engine had too much weight on the left side bolt. So I gotta go in and have the jack the engine to do it. Not sure why I'm the only one who needs to do this
Hey @chrisbaillargeon5700 , I apologize for the late reply, the other tool is just a ratchet with a hex bit socket! If you google it, you should be able to find them at harbor freights. Size H8 in this case
@nikky50000 I have not, unfortunately the quadlock I had on this bike would get loose and just got tired of it. Currently have a hex ball mount with a ram extension and quad lock ball adapter on it. I'm not sure if the wireless would fit on it but I can definitely take a look! For now, I use the 12V Power outlet to charge it. I'll have a video coming soon on how to install that 😁
I apologize for taking so long to get back to you, to answer your question the ball adapter quad lock mount actually does fit the wireless charger mount. I'll be doing a video soon on how to install, I just gotta figure it out myself first haha
FYI to anyone doing this to their 650 the engine does droop down. I had to to jack it up about a quarter inch
Did you just put it under the exhaust or where did you place it
This happens when you remove both bolts off from both sides at the same time!…..you should do only one side at a time
I just got a ninja 650 and ordered the slider bars. Thank you for the video. I’m new as well and plan to learn as I go.
Getting my 650 next month, glad I found this vid and now I know just how easy it is to install. Great simple and quick video, safe riding 🤙
Well done👍🏻 Looking forward to future videos.
Thanks darren, I appreciate the feedback!
About to do this on mine as well. Thanks for the vid.

Good quality bolts aren’t pricey, go to your local hardware store and look around.
So because you can buy good quality bolts at a hardware store, the bolts in this kit are as strong as stock?

great vid

Same as well
How did you jack up the engine in that scenario? Did you just put the jack on your exhaust?
Same bike gang and same sliders too
Same bike and slider gang 😎
What is this for? Is it supposed to protect the bike if dropped?
Yep, that's pretty much it!
Sounds like everyone's just working on their cars in your parking lot lol
I got a 2022 Ninja 650. Thanks for the link and showing how easy it is man! Any Chance you know what that other ratchet tool is called now?

Much appreciation. Thanks for getting back!@@yourFriendly650
Are you doing the front and rear sliders too?
@leny5543 Yes, I plan to upload shorts for those since they are pretty quick!
Nice I just bought a black 650 planning to install sliders and engine guards soon. Did you ever install the wireless charging to your Quad Lock?

Bro , can you tell me how to adjust the side mirrors of 2024 ninja 650..
Adjust the mirrors? You just move it from the big part whichever way you need. Please explain more in what you need help
Same bike gang.
Also gave you a sub.
@@B-ry3 Appreciate it my dude, sending you a sub as well!
