Bought PayPal around early Nov and I'm already up +12%. It's a company I have been looking at since it's decline this year and bought at a price I was comfortable with. Definitely gonna be buying more shares
Managed to get 150 shares slowly over 2023. Hope it stays under 80 a little longer. I want to get to 200 to 250 shares. But I think I am running out of time.
4 minute in, VERY GOOD VIDEO!!!!!
Thank you for this analysis.
Glad you enjoyed it! - GC

Thanks for the support .AP
That gap down on earnings was a gift. I got some and I’m already up 30% on leverage
Could you do an analysis of LVMH?
Ive been biting at shares the past few weeks. A good business that can be better the next few years.
I am about 3% up on Paypal. It´s one of my top10 investments. I will keep it for a while, that´s for sure.
Have you thought of making video on fortinet?
I love PayPal adding every time it gets under 60
Good mindset my man - GC
PayPal will do the same as Intel, I believe. Just like Intel was undervalued, I kept on buying around the $25-28 range and increasing my size. Now, I will do the same with PayPal because it is so dirt cheap. Everything under $60 is fine :)
Agreed...tx for following us felix - GC
Do u think it pay pal will break 60?
Should I buy it now?
I am over 60% on my Intels. Veeery happy with it.
I don’t see the comparison with intel. Intel makes a tangible product and they are building manufacturing facilities to improve that product for themselves and others that want chips made specifically for them.
PayPal basically is if I understand it right a service to businesses that is less expensive and more secure for them than credit cards. Buyers only use PayPal because business prefers it’s use over credit cards. It’s basically a service company not a manufacturing business.
@@alecstahl2387Ive got two batches of intel stock one is +35%and the other 65%. Going to ride this pony for a while.😊
Its such a crowded space the payment business with others coming on line seemingly every few months
. Great trusted brand name, but will it be enough.
After the recent stock-market rally, my 401k is up and it is a relief from the bruising it took in 2022, when the S&P 500's total return was -18. I have $160k currently in 5% CDs that i plan to to invest in stocks when it mature's but in a non-retirement account. Need advice to outperform the S&P 500 and also risk mitigation.

Great job on Paypal guys
Paul are you adding to your PayPal position following a 8-9% fall last night?
Been buying Paypal in small quantities. Going to add some more, but I have too much exposure to growth stocks. I think as bond rates come down, under performing dividend stock will do well. So I am buying all Dividend stocks that have high dividend, good cash flow, low P/E and down for the year. What you guys think?
Thanks for the comment , am not a dividend buyer , so I can give you anything there , but you need to have an idea of how much exposure you want .AP
Can you do a video on how to identify undervalued stocks with strong balancesheets?
Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks , we will give that idea some thought .AP
That's all our videos , what we show you is what you need to do .AP
Why no one talks about peg ratio is beyond my understanding.
Pypl was at 51 and moe was still thinking about buying it , now it’s 61.5 and suddenly it’s amazing
I still pass on it , not my kind of stock that makes me happy to own .AP
How is it Square was all the way down to 39.00 and now it's 74.00?
You should do Block
I loaded the boat on 2026 leaps when PayPal hit $53 a share. I will add more if I get the opportunity I can’t see a situation where PayPal does not hit $100 a share in the next 12-18 months. Look the forward PE is like a 10 and the company is buying back like 6% of their own company. This is low hanging fruit. I’m a growth investor but when I see a no brainer value investment I go big and I use leaps to leverage so I can get the return that is okay for me. I still think PayPal can get to 10% plus growth as well.
Nice one Trent...tx for sharing - GC
PYPL is my biggest position, av buy ~68, I know it’s high but I have been buying all this year
My buddy has around 1000 shares at 138 range lol. You are fine

Long term play my man...great position - GC
That’s good. I’m at 79 a share
it not going back to it all time high, that special time has past.
I put a considerable amount of my portfolio into pypl @56.11 a couple weeks ago. I don't usually buy individual stocks but when I ran the numbers on paypal I had to do something 😂
Hahah , yea is not my cup of tea , but numbers looked really good .AP
Amazon will stop supporting Venmo as Direct payment from the 10th of January 2024. The question is how much revenue this generates over the year and will it actually affect the customer purchases with other paypal payment options such as Credit Card.
Its 100 million so not a really big deal
Got in around 57-59 range, ready for the rips and dips! This is one big asymmetric bet to the upside. Long PYPL @ this price.
Nice play my man...one for the long haul - GC
Pypl been pumping hard on YT for the last few months, meanwhile SQ is quietly up almost 100% during this time. Are TH-camrs a wall street diversion?
Btw I’m invested in both companies(pypl/sq) and believe in their long term growth, just curious why pypl has been getting all the videos lately while SQ has little YT action. SQ was at $38 just a few months ago, today ~$75. Also Jack Dorsey has A LOT more time now to focus on block since he’s sold Twitter to his homeboy
Thanks for sharing...very pleased for SQ...- GC
Interesting , could you be into something ? AP
The key issues with PYPL are: 1) its revenue growth has slowed dramatically and 2) increasing market competitions. Unlike Microsoft, customers of PYPL can easily switch to their competitors. The market is right most of the time but it gives more weight to recent events. PYPL is lowly rated for a good reason. It is a stock that needs further observation whether its new management can effectively address its issues.
“Gives more weight to recent events” = recency bias. That’s a mis-pricing opportunity. Saying they’re easy to switch from compared to Microsoft is akin to pretending that Apple’s MACs can’t run equivalent software or Google doesn’t have a better version of excel. “Switching” isn’t evaluated on the basis of the end consumer user for Microsoft, nor should it be for PayPal. Doing so is a huge mistake in analyzing their business and will cause you to miss the opportunity due to the irrational mis-pricing.
At any FED rate they have an inherent pricing competitiveness advantage over others who have worse overhead/G&A, and COGS. In other words, they’re more like Ally than J.P. Morgan Chase when it comes to loans (even BNPL loans).
PYPL customer can easily switch to competitors, the question is. Would they???
Thanks for the comments peez....there is competition that is true...but they are miles away from PYPL...we will see - GC
What competitor could I switch to for the Paypal button? Safe, 3% cashback, and no info fill out is good.
PayPal is making money in terms of cash flows and maybe is a little bit undervalued but does she win new users/customers and especially compared with other traditional methods of payment? PayPal brought a new philosophy. Is this way of payment keep expanding nowadays? What is your personal feeling, what the numbers are saying. I am just asking. Maybe the person said "it's dying" implies that is not going well to the customer expansion.
You are right there might be some truth in that , I have not looked into it .AP
So you now compare msft with paypal? Btw you do a great job with quantitative stuff with a stock.. but that is a very small part of d story.. plz deep dive into the moat of the business , wat things the company is doing to increase its cash flow etc. it gives a much better picture of the stock.. have you bothered to analyze why paypal has sudden negative free cash flow
These are the idiots that said amazon was going to $70 lmao
Okay I’m stupid. So please tell me what’s the benefit of using paypal over a credit card. What does paypal bring to the party?
Different business models. Sellers use PayPal because it’s trusted more for online sales. Data suggests that if they don’t have PayPal as an option, they lose sales.
Same as what square did , they help a business be able to manage their accounts .AP
When I buy something online I always look for PayPal. I trust them way more than a random company online who could just steal my money. PayPal normally always go on the side of the customers so we are more willing to take a risk on it. Getting your money bad with credit card is more annoying.
Basically then if I understand you correctly PayPal is business focused because CC aren’t necessarily business friendly. PayPal lowers a business’s risk and increases their customer base which increases their ability to increase sales. Thanks guys
Wouldnt it be better to invest in paypal once it reverses the trend? Right now it seems to still be in a downtrade
Dollar cost average and stay the long course - GC
The other guy is there mainly to agree with big head guy
PayPal is my biggest holding at $64. I can set it going to 70-80 in 2024 especially with the new management.
You bias, get your head out of the sand it's goes to 30
@281Fanta lol you are just stupid. It is making billions in profit and buying back shares heavily. P/E is very low and new management is changing things around.
So what you're saying is Kathy woods ARKK invest has outperformed PayPal? Lol
Nope...it seems you are saying that 🤦♂️- GC
We love PayPal ❤
We too😉 - GC
already green got the bottom :]]]
Look at paypals transaction take rate over time. Since 2015 its gone from over 3% to currently below 2%. I think they yave a deteriorating business model that is masked by payment processing industry growth
That's a bit of what I see that I don't like , its also a simple moat to copy , more companies will come do the same and do it better .AP
A huge issue nobody ever talks about for some reason is they lost Ebay
They didn't "lose" eBay, eBay spun them off.
And more rev after ebay
Thanks we will give it a look .AP
Thats in the past
You guys weren't interested at $60 previously, or $50, but now $61?
You guys missed all the juiciest LEAPS.
Market is just ignoring it, because of the growth fears. We just need 1-2 good news feom Chris, the new CEO regarding business growthvand expansion, and the stock will shoot up to 3-400$ again.. because it is profitable, meaning better thsn upstart, twillio, and other nonsense companies earning no profits.

I think you guys need to do something more with a video like this. This felt lazy. I've been following the channel for a bit now and I've seen a couple of Paypal videos. There is almost no difference between this one and the last. its not like this video is analyzing new data to re-affirm a prior purchase decision, your just saying and doing the same things you said and did before. I imagine the point is to show how you have a consistent process that you constantly apply and re-apply to all stocks. Although the fact that you acted surprised by the November data says otherwise, its a boring video for any of us who have been following the channel and Paypal with you guys. I would suggest you discuss prior purchases and thought processes, what you do when you get a ping on your alerts, or go through what folks are saying on your platform, which you were doing before and was very helpful and serves the secondary purpose of getting folks to jump on the subscription service. just my 2 cents. thanks for the videos.
Definitely wasnt lazy... and we have people asking us to do PayPal follow up videos. But..You are welcome to comment and share your opinion. Thanks for subscribing and watching. We have another video tomorrow that you may enjoy better. thanks for the support. - Timo
Why would one buy a stock that no one wants to buy ?
They’re not buying their putting out a video on a beaten up stock. Saying it might be a bargain now but don’t say why.

Why does Jim Cramer hate PYPL so much? He claims because of competition(apple pay, google pay, sq) and loss of ebay partnership. I don’t understand the disconnect between bullish TH-camrs and Cramer on PYPL. Cramer has been trading for over 40+ years and has much more experience. Is he wrong on the stock?

PayPal has no "business moat" (i.e., no IP ) to maintain and to protect its competitive advantages. Affirm and Square are circling the wagons AND not to mention that if Amazon and Apple decide to kick up another notch of their Amazon Pay and Apple Pay, then PayPal might well be you-fill-in-the-blank.
It's not an accident that both Affirm and Square stocks have outperformed PayPal. GLTA.
