Jesus Christ I thought watching a guide would help but now I’m so much more confused. Idk if I’m really liking this game, there’s just so much going on
I'm just getting into this game now and I have to say, there is SO MUCH to learn for a free to play game. Like all the tutorial popups, settings, complexity of literally everything. I'm not saying that as a bad thing, I was just truly shocked at how much there is. It is daunting but I'm sure understanding it all makes it better. I honestly just started playing because I saw the promo art of a bus with flesh arms and was like "I need to check that out". Reminds me of that indie game with the spider train.
I'm really not hating because I genuinely appreciate the video. But, like some other commenters, I did not feel like this was really a beginner's guide so much as a 'guide for what to focus on in the early game if you are already familiar with the game and starting a new character', or something. I am genuinely new to the game (4 hours in) and this started out going way too fast and over my head. I'm going to stop watching now and come back to this later and I think it will be a very helpful video.
Yh me and my buddies spent 2 days just building our base and exploring 😂 one friend joined us and after an hour he was in the same progress as us in the MSQ😅
I've always bounced off the survival genre but this looks genuinely cool. Btw, you just taking a quick break from helldivers or waiting for a big update?
@@TheLizardKing752 Subnautica was the game that all my friends told me to try, never got around to it though. From what I've heard its an insanely deep game with a lot of surprises which is kinda the opposite of what pops into my mind when I hear the word "survival" As for once human, it almost looks like an action/adventure game with survival elements, I'm definitely going to give it a try at some point
Was super hyped for the game cuz i saw the open bata and loved the idea of making ny own house after 3 hours if making a cool house in a mountains i realized how much of a pain it is goinf up and down to gather stuff so i sent 30 minutes finding a nice spot and another 30 minutes getting the perfect view and then sepnt a good 5 hours building the house / gathering God this game is fun
I just got off the game, so do connectors work like fallout? Where you have your generator on the roof(solar panel,generator,etc) connect a connector next to it and then another on the ceiling inside and then that’s how you wire the inside of your house. Or i do I just have wires sticking through objects? Even tho we can hide them?
Survival isn't really my thing, but this one looks cool and the Dough covering it so I kinda have to try it now. Side note, we want more Helldivers 2 content just sayin lol.
It's surprisingly not terrible. Definitely not a game to main, but something fun while waiting for the Illuminate and some other games like Delta Force to drop.

Hating on a game cuz of the tos is wild as long as they aren’t actively trying to make money off of you or harm you it does not matter at all any permissions you give a game windows already has and I would forever trust a random Chinese dev team over a multi billion dollar corporation that has been hacked and had countless data leaks

it's completely normal. just like it's normal for people to spread misinformation via steam reviews/twitter. game doesn't have any invasive privacy policy that other games don't have.
@@OhDough I'm not talking about that, the game adds files in the registry that continue running and stay there even after you uninstall the game. Only can be removed using the registry editor and the precise directory which can be a nightmare to find. This is not normal behaviour on games and clearly predatory. What you're likely referring to is kernel anticheat and I don't mind that very much because most of them allow me to fully uninstall them from the game files and all of the ones I've used run on a manual basis whenever I check the services tab. The only exception being Vanguard which is an overboard predatory anticheat. Regarding the home alone malicious lookin registry files, look it up, I ain't lying.
I have a question is someone wouldn't mind helping me out! I started a new character on a pve server but I see other charcters bases EVERYWHERE it kinda ruins the experience for me. I love everything about this game but it takes me out of the immersion constantly seeing other ppls bases everywhere. I play solo btw. Is there anyway to not see everyones bases?? Am I on the wrong server?

I'm the same way with survival games, the only one I ever really got into was Subnautica. But I'm having a lot of fun with this game for some reason.

Its actually good. Reminds me of a physiological horror palworld. Yeah its f2p so dont expect AAA production but it definitely aint bad.

You can change the world you're on at any teleport station without changing servers. The base building is going to be a factor in that way a lot tho
It's because you're in the new zones. After 50 hours, I'm lucky to see 2 bases in the level 30 zones
