Im still looking for someone in Britain who wants to trade places with me in Australia. I would love to live somewhere as dreary and mildly temperate as England. In Australian summer, I literally become a hash brown. Everything is 1000°C all the time, your seat belt turns into a branding iron, your shoes melt off, you surround yourselves with fans and AC just to keep from roasting in your own juices, people sell drinks frozen cause if they sold them as a liquid itd evaporate before it gets to your mouth (ok im exaggerating, but it is filthy hot) I do actually have to make sure my car is free from water bottles because it might just catch the sun and set my car on fire... But England, oh! Wake up, rain. Go to bed, rain. Wake up, still raining. And then Id hear a lady talk with that accent... "Im in heaven" 😍 So yeah, any Brits that wanna trade lives... hmu 👍
Oh and we also get hot summer days where touching a seatbelt (especially the metal part) will give you second degree burns. Okay, not literally. But more literally than you turning into a hash brown.
Being the 6'5", 18st guy built like a cuddly rugby player, I have always been at a bit of a disadvantage compared to the guys and girls I race against, who are usually about a foot shorter and a ton lighter. It is still the most fun you can have outdoors while staying fully clothed and not being arrested. Great to see Steve and Jimmy on-track at the same time, but it was a shame we didn't get to see a head-to-head.
I found both SteveGT and Jimmer Narrowstraight independently, so it's rather surreal to see them on track together. I forgot about Super's new 360° camera; though the audio isn't top-notch as noted in the video, the perspective is still more than worth that minor short-coming. I can still hear tires scrubbing, so I'm pleased as punch. Thanks for the video Mister GT, it was great fun and you guys had a great drive!
Ahhhh my local circuit showing it's mystic weather abilities again. It could be glorious sunshine a few miles away in the Dorchester suburbs, yet piss cats and dogs at clay! Glad to see you and Jimmy back in the series
As an old man of 28, the idea of an hour of karting has scared my back into submission. I did a half hour at Lakeside two weeks ago and I still can't pick up medium-sized objects off the ground.
Well, looks like the rainy weather in Forza 7 is realistic after all. Some fog, slightly damp track, and nothing more. Good racing though, some nice moves there
I'm sure I wasn't the one who convinced you, but I'm glad I mentioned the 360 camera. Awesome angle and ability to follow the action. Too bad they don't allow the helmet cams too, because a narrower field of view from your POV would be great to add more to depth to your story. Of course that would mean more editing. Now. VR... Edit: Welp, I spoke too soon. I guess a higher end camera would be better.
would love to get involved... prices are a bit steep though and missing an event would be devastating for any kind of decent comp standings :/ anyway great watch! condolences to the camera mount that decided to bin itself in the Shadow Realm xD
I saw jimmy’s spin on a different video, happy you put some content out even if it is late. I prefer the 3 race format. Hour of driving a kart sounds torturous especially if your kart is one which is down on power a tiny fraction.
I'm crap at GT Sport but I do enjoy playing it. The only two people I've watched and got the best information from is Super GT and Jimmy. I would love to see them two do a blindfold challenge. Pick a track they know really well on GT Sport and see who can get the quickest lap time.

Guess I'm in a bettin' mood. And not to be mean in my bets. I dont want to sound like I think you're always complaining about your kart, or that Jimmy can't drive... i just picked a thing and now im overthinking my own hypothetical 😅
@@Super_GT That's a shame, although the GoPro 360 is and I'll be happy to see footage from it. I guess it's just the amateur engineer in me looking at that design and seeing all the ways it could be improved and strengthened. Missed opportunities there for sure.
