I initially thought that the user didn't change after I updated the username because `nixos` remains in the prompt... But I'm guessing that is the hostname.

You can double check by running "echo $USER" - the hostname will still be "nixos" if you didn't change it :)

There is no need to hype GNU/Linux.
NixOS is for advanced users and system administrators. Linux and especially NixOS is not your philosophy, almost all your vidios are about Windows and stay there.

First command doesn't do anything on my powershell. The WSL binary just spits out the help instead. Is there something to install beforehand?
wsl --import NixOS .\NixOS\ .
ixos-wsl.tar.gz --version 2
