...never tried embossing with a brayer but failed miserably with a rolling pin so I got two pieces of really hard wood, sprayed my paper, sandwiched it in an embossing folder, sandwiched that between the wood, then jumped up and down on it for a few minutes and was pleased as punch with the results. Desperate times call for desperate measures! LOL! Love you and the furry and feathered fam! 👱‍♀️🐶🐦 From the Southern California desert, MK ❤☀️🌬🌵

That fancy stapler is called the Fastenator and it's long been discontinued. So, don't part with it if you think you'll use it. I don't know whether you can purchase staples for it anymore, but probably not. ~ Lisa

The purple thing is a micro fiber brush. It's handy for working with alcohol inks. They use them for adhesives for eyelashes. I have a bunch and wanted to try coloring in with distress ink, some tiny stamps. I'll try that someday.... Sure......

Still another idea about the little “bottle cleaner” things. I bought some years ago after watching a Jennifer McGuire video. I think they are originally meant to apply glue to false eyelashes, but she was using them to add glue in tiny spaces.

I do enjoy these Friday clean out vids, Pam. Lindsay is, unwillingly, I'm sure, the lure to many many many crafters purchasing odd things with all good intentions, which rarely if ever see the light of day again! :) I've watche her videos for years (don't you miss Ask a Crafter?) and I have finally learned to ask myself crucial questions before I buy something just because Lindsay showed us a cool technique with it. Like, first, "Just because Lindsay uses it, does that mean Cindy will?" I still hear the Wantmonster telling me I need stuff I don't, but I have gotten better at learning to deny the want!
I do have some serious drawer-envy of your craft room, Pam. I don't begin to have enough drawers. I have a few large pieces of furniture that dictate how many drawers I can have, and beyond that I have boxes. I'm big on boxes, except for tiny stuff. You know, brads, eyelets, etc.? Those I store, nicely labeled, in Altoid tins. I have 70 of them filled with tiny bits of stuff. I like that they tins click shut, reducing the likelihood that I will spill that tin of eyelets when I reach for the tin of buttons next to it. But figuring out how to store 70 altoid tins so they are readily accessible and secure at the same time has been a challenge. I think I'm close. My sister gave me two half days where she helped me to organize my craft room. Being disabled, there are things I'm just not able to do, and she was wonderful, patiently waiting while I sifted through the piles she swept out from under furniture to be sure I didn't miss anything crucial! :) And it was hard for her, trust me. We are Martha and Mary from the Bible all over again. She's SO Martha and I am SO Mary. :) But we persevered and my craft room is finally nicely organized. Whohoo!

Hi Pam! I can't tell you how much I love your videos but your personality even more. I too (doesn't everyone lol) have those tools that are not used often or those electric plugs in that attach to some tool then to the outlet) and they take up so much room and get all over the place where and can't be found when needed... so frustrating! I did find a decent solution (I have used zip lock bags too) to corral these items but what I really like are a few items I get at the Dollar Tree; for smaller items like pokie tools... I buy clear pencil type bags and for the the larger items such as my heat embossing tool, glue gun and those electrical cord attachments are canvas like pouches with clear fronts (found in the Teaching Tree area) most rarely used tools fit in there nicely and I can see them which is nice! The EK fancy stapler would probably fit in one very well along with the staples. It's nice grabbing a pouch and knowing everything I need is in there with the tool. The pouches seem to be the perfect size; easy to open/close without having to fiddle around, they store nicely, and best of all I can see through the clear front and/or label them..... for me it's a quick grab and go and quick to put away... even if while in the throes of reckless abandon the pouches never quite make it back to their home until clean up time... makes it all easy peazy! :) Merry Christmas to you, Papa, and the Zoo! Take care and stay safe! Hugs and Best Wishes!

I don't have my own craft room. I'm crafting in a small part of our livingroom and I'm very limited in space so I need to be very organized. Most of the rulers have a hole on one side so I've put a hook on one of the shelfs I've my supplies in and hung them on the hook. I've put some empty and of course cleaned tins on the wall with hot glue and have my brushes and most used tools and scissors in them. I've bought some clear plastic drawer units to put on the shelves so I can stuff and also made dividers for some of the drawer to keep the different things apart from each other. To prevent a overflowing scrap-pile I've some clear boxes (original they were made for the fridge) and try to keep every scrap in this boxes, sorted by the kind of scrap, and work from there. Yes ... I'm a very organiced crafter this is how my brain works .... doesn't mean there's no mess on the table while I'm crafting .... but I need to clean off the mess before I switch to something different. It's quite interesting to see other people organize their stuff and how their brain works 😊.

Oh, I’m afraid you were going to go in that direction.
I had to do that several years ago when I moved from my home that I lived in for 43 years. What a job! You have to be so tough to let stuff go. And yes, there are always regrets.
I can still remember things I wish I had kept.
No comment. Creative Life goes on.

Those rhinestone picker is helpful if you have fibromyalgia and arthritis. I have it on my wish list for that reason. The straight edge razor is good to scrape off water build up on glass shower doors.if you take them pieces of cardboard and tape them to the inside of your box you could designate little parts of the box to be storage areas for different things. If you add a small thin box on top of the box in the drawer that you could slide back and forth in the drawer you could put stuff in that box too to give you more space and still have access to the box beneath. The small screwdriver with the teeny screws is for eyeglasses. I keep those everywhere. The retractable tape measure is good to have in a glove box if you ever go to buy something and you need to know how big it's the spaces it's going to fit in. Boy what an enabler now I want one of those staplers. I use those for garage sales and stuff just to be sure. Donate new or gently used craft items to DAFI. Find a local creative reuse for unused. Don't bake a cake for all those files they won't work on metal bars. LOL 😆😂 great work sweetie.🐞🌲🎅⛄🤶🦌🎄The embossing tools are great for paper flowers, here's why I think they're cool. I am cleaning with you Pam, crikey this is better than therapy! I'm jumping in a little late as only found you a few weeks ago. Dragged the laptop upstairs and have you chattering away, you don't know this but I am chatting along with you! I have those "Little Weird Things" I use them for dabbing on glue but prefer to use the essential cocktail stick (toothpick?). Listening to you and reading the comments I now finally know I am not on my own with the hoarding! :D

Four years ago my third coffee maker went out of commission. Since then I have not bought another one cause I found the best French press in the universe. I am sure you have an electric kettle, so the amount of time it takes to make coffee is based on how fast your water kettle heats up the water. This is my French press. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UQZ0E8C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I love your dog!!!! We have the same tastes in furry friends. And I am afraid I am guilty of having way too many drawers and cabinets that need organizing. These videos are very inspiring to just organize along with you.

I didn’t think I needed to watch this video. I am trying to get myself organized to be on main floor of my house to avoid stairs for knee surgery in 4 weeks.
