  • So you've just been told that you have cancer and now what?
How do you tell the ones you love?
It may seem straight forward - just tell them - but it's not as easy as that.
    Who do you tell?
In this video I explain how to tell the news and also who I think that you should tell it to.

Do you have a story of how you told your friends & family that you had cancer? Any advice that you could offer to others?

Honey , why you don't go in Havana , Cuba ... there have the best treatment for any kind of cancer ... or you can try to use vaccine CimaVax - EGF

I openly put my diagnosis of Hodgkin Lymphoma on my Facebook status. It wasn't easy but I didn't want to keep explaining to everyone. I stayed very upbeat and positive throughout, which helped a lot :)

I told them earlier that I will be getting a check up. And my tumor will be biopsy. And then I posted the result on our groupchat and said it's positive. 😔

@@johainahestores1234 I'm so sorry about that ... so the best cures for tumors are ..Vitamine B17 ..and ..cannabis oil ..but must be clear cannabis oil ..and not from pharmacy

When my 13 year old daughter got sick, before her diagnosis, I came across your channel. It has helped me so much through her journey. You have been such an inspiration and helped me get through some hard days. I had reached out to you by email and want to thank you so much for taking time to read my messages and respond. When I first had a feeling my daughter had cancer, I shared it with my immediate family and best friends. When we got the official diagnosis, I kept people in the loop through a chain of my friends and family. I told those closest to me, and they helped let others know. Most of it was by text because I would update everyone while at doctor appointments. It’s unbelievably hard to face people and say “it’s cancer”. I didn’t want to see the look on their face. But I could face them once they knew. It’s still difficult but it gets easier as we go on. My daughter is officially half way done with chemo and has her first pet scan after started chemo on Monday.

I was in shock and took awhile to process. It was hard telling my young children, but the hardest was telling my parents. All good advice, thank you!

Hello I had non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma it’s not easy telling your family I was put in the hospital after test that was the results I didn’t take it so bad but my husband and my daughter did I am doing so much better now I thank God every day! First tip I’m gonna give is stay positive God is good sometimes we think cancer is a death sentence but not always but stay positive good attitude It’s best to tell everyone get it out in the open the faster they start praying for you the better it is we have to remember God heals all I feel like a Miracle it’s awesome when you meet up with people sometimes people you don’t even know and they tell you I’ve been praying for you But yes stay positive strong and with a good attitude you’ll feel so much better I just can’t imagine me being depressed I had no time for depression I was too busy fighting cancer and I’m happy to say i Beat cancer and I’m happy to say my hair has grown out fast and yes I do miss my long hair but Like I say it was a small price to pay!I wish everyone fighting cancer lots of luck may god be with everyone of you ❤️🙏✝️

The most important person in my life, my best friend, my love, my wife found out the same time as I did. During a 10pm call on speakerphone. Pat held my hand when I called my family. You are correct. How you tell your family can really affect them. You have to keep that in mind. Once I started treatments (when I recovered from surgery enough to go out), I wore advanced cancer tee shirts and caps. That is how a lot of my neighbor’s found out. The thing was I wore the shirt and cap not to announce that I had cancer. Rather it was my protection. My armor that allowed me to function. May sound weird but it worked for me. Now that I have a brain tumor that will have to be cut out I spend my time wearing either brain tumor or cancer caps. By the way, love your dogs.❤️🙏🐕

I’m having a breast biopsy on Thursday. I’m BRCA + with a strong family history of breast cancer. Doctor found a hard, irregular shaped mass in my left breast. So scared! My dear friend Tonya had cancer years ago and is my go to person to talk to.

I told my sister that same day because I live with her and she needed to know because not only is that the respectful thing to do, but she's my emergency contact. I told my employer the day I had the official surgery date because I needed the time off.

Mags I had met with the cancer DR
at the VA the next day, I had a bone marrow biopsy and was admitted to the VA Hospital too
The next 3 days after that were my 1st 3 chemotherapy sessions
Then I had my 4th and final chemotherapy session of my 1st round of chemo
After my 1st round of chemo I had a blood bacteria that had to be taken care of ASAP And 3 years ago I had a stroke too Mags it's only by the grace God that I'm still alive.
