I ordered Dua’s impression of Rouge Smoking called She Loves Red. It’s supposed to come today! All the reviews say it smells identical but with even better performance. I can’t waittttt

Sunshine Woman is an amazing, strong, confident, bright fragrance. I agree it can be used all seasons. Rouge Smoking A+. I just got Dolce Amalfi and I oversprayed and I was overwhelmed and got too sickly spicy for me. Will try again with less sprays. Perhaps when it gets colder I will enjoy it more.
Dolce Amalfi is an easy one to overspray! I’ve done the same 🙈🙈 I only reach for it in the fall and winter 😁

Love this! I don't normally go for fruity but I LOVE Delina layered with Kayali 28! I'll never get tired of it & get SO many compliments... it's only the 'youtube world' that's over Delina... still the best!

Imaginary Author's Sundrunk really impressed me. By the name, I thought it'd be more like a sunscreen type of scent, but it is so not. It smell juicy and delicious and perfect for summer. I highly recommend getting your nose on it.

It has neroli and orange in it, which you've said is not your fave, so I would get a sample or test in store. This is definitely not one you should blind buy lol

I know you said you don't even want to try any other pineapple fragrances, and I'm sure you have smelled these, but I samples of them, and cannot decide which one I want to get: either Oud Jaune Intense or Mile High 38 from Parle Moi de Parfum. Absolutely love both of them.

@@AnneLauren to be totally honest, I have been TRYING to tell a difference between them on skin. Almost out of my samples though (😭), so not testing too hard. May be that my nose isn't that trained. I know they have different note breakdowns, but still.

I need to try delina!! I would love to hear your discovery journey in detail. Something that happens to me is I LOVE a scent in the air, but when I wear it, either my chemistry doesn’t mesh or it just doesn’t fit my vibe (yeah wear what you want but I want my perfumes to match who I am) so what I’m curious about is have you always liked the scents you now love, like the unisex, woodsy, leathery type scents? Or did you discover over time that they match you? I hope this makes sense! Your taste is so unique which just had me wondering how you discovered your scent profile 😊💓

I've always been into notes like wood, vanilla, coconut, etc. But from being into fragrances, and trying the amount that I have, I discovered I loved notes like saffron, ylang ylang, litchi, etc. So I'd say I discovered my love for more unique notes that I don't smell more on the regular through exploring fragrances :)

I did test a couple of mangos and it was love with SHL God of Fire’s bright, juicy citrus and slight wood note underneath the beautiful realistic mango. 💛🥭💛

I am also super picky about non-citrus fruits in perfumes and you listed several here that I love. Some other frags I love with prominent fruit notes are Chloe Nomade, Jul et Mad Stilettos on Lex, and Byron The Chronic Rouge Extreme. My favorite cheapie of all time is Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Royale. It’s woody and ambery with suede and patch notes, but all the deep dark notes are perfectly tempered by a stunning raspberry liqueur note. I CANNOT even believe it’s so inexpensive, because it smells like it could be a niche fragrance. I am obsessed with it. A new fruity love for me is a vintage beauty called Jacques Fath Fath de Fath. A perfume friend sent me a sample of the EDP and I immediately knew I needed a bottle. I just snagged a bottle for a great price and it’s soooo good. I guess it would be considered a fruity floral with a vanillic and ambery base. Highly recommend.
I forgot to add that I’ve always thought that Rouge Smoking smells like how those weird candy cigarettes tasted. They were white and kind of chalky/powdery, similar to the sticks that come with Fun Dip. I really love Rouge Smoking too lol.

Gosh I was feeling quite a bit of hate for Lamar- and I have a bottle! But I will try it again. It’s way less fruity than how you describe it to me. I hope to get Sunshine one day- so crazy smelling, in a great way. It reminds me of Spring skiing in my youth. I believe we must have had a sunscreen that smelled similar..
Oh! Have you tried I love NY For Her? That is a mouth watering blueberry muffin- so good. I really enjoyed it the last time I wore it.

Kyse perfumes makes a wonderful peach perfume, Peche y Yuzu. Vilhelm Mango Skin is great.
I would love to try Triumph of Bacchus by Argos: green apple and white peach in the top notes, with vanilla, tobacco, amber, and sandalwood in the base. I stumbled on it online randomly and I never hear anyone talk about it but I can't wait to smell it!

Longtime viewer here. Although we couldn't differ more in our taste (Deep & Desire made me nauseated; I'm reselling Ruby & Vanilla Intense, and the only EBK fragrance I like is Moonstore), I love watching your videos and your unapologetic love of fragrances.

Have you tried Nishane’s Zenne? It’s a unique and beautiful fruit floral scent, in my opinion. I also just got Stephane Humbert Lucas Mango Kiss, unfortunately I had to order my bottle from Harrods as it was a little cheaper compared to US shops.
I order most of my niche perfumes from Harrods too! Way cheaper even with the shipping cost factored in.

Rouge Smoking smells verrru fizzy. It smells like the be cooler version of Kilian Ldbs. I prefer LDBS so far
Rouge Smoking is one of my favorite fragrances, but I never thought it smelled like redvines. I'm going to have to try it and see if I smell redvines. I really enjoyed sampling Dolce Amalfi, and I definitely get the juicy fruit comparison, but I'm on the fence about buying a bottle. I'm also really interested in sampling deep & desire, but the grape note listed makes me nervous.

Hi Anne, I have a question! I smelled Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille in a Sephora the other day and found it to be a hard no… I love vanilla but it must’ve been the tobacco that I found almost revolting sadly! Although I do love Replica’s Jazz Club, which I know has a tobacco leaf note in there. But anyway - if I don’t like a scent like Tobacco Vanille, do you think it’s possible I might still like Amouage Sunshine? I’ve been wanting to try it for ages but the tobacco note has me wary!

Awe thank you! 🤍 I’ve tried several from the house and haven’t found a love to bring into my collection yet. My favorite so far has been Tamarindo. Smells like a spiced (cardamom), ambery, patchouli, creamy, vanilla pina colada. 😝 Totally full bottle worthy, I just know I won’t reach for it because it is more “dense,” & I can find myself getting sick of it. But really good!! It’s great, just a tad too thick/cloying for me

Regarding Lovefest Burning Cherry: it smells pretty nice but the performance is awful. Not full bottle worth my for me, even if the performance was better. I’d try in store or buy the mini. Huda Beauty’s site sells the mini bottle, Sephora sells a travel spray.

Could be your skin chemistry or simply just not a scent that’s a love for you! Trust me, there are soooo many fragrances that are well loved that I don’t vibe with at all

I have! It’s too similar to Lost Cherry imo with the same very sweet, marachino cherry liquor. Although it’s more musky, woody, and deeper, with better lasting power. I like it but it’s not a love for me personally, I think most people would really enjoy it though :)
