Further info: Namib desert is hot and can go up 50 degrees in some parts. The part you were at coast is cool coz it's along the Atlantic ocean. Atlantic ocean is the coldest ocean. It releases cold air into the desert up to some kilometres that's why whole coastline of namibia whether is same as Cape town. South Atlantic is cold ocean. Indian ocean is warm ocean. Namib desert starts from SA border in South of Namibia up to Angola border in north of namibia. The desert coastline of Namibia is 1,570 km long and entirely covered by desert. However, the mountainous town along the entire coastline is Luderitz port in Southern Namibia. Inland namib desert is hot as u leave depart ocean side but dnt make a mistake coz the namib even part that is 200km away from ocean is very cold in the night and hot during day.
I like educating travellers on what I know about Namibia and a countries where you travel to if I know some info.
Moreso, Kavango and Zambezi regions have the highest rainfall pattern in Namibia in any given yesr but Zambezi region has the highest coz it's also surrounded by 4 rivers:Cuando river from Angola via western Zambezi region, Linyanti river in Western Zambezi region separating Botswana from Namibia, Zambezi river separating Namibia and Zambia as well as Chobe river separating Namibia and Botswana in South east.

One thing I’ve noticed about the quality of life in those Southern African countries especially Botswana 🇧🇼 and Namibia 🇳🇦 is that life there appears to be quite easier when compared to life here in Kenya 🇰🇪
And also, people down there don’t appear to be as hard working as Kenyans are! We might have a bigger GDP or economy here in Kenya but the quality of life is definitely better in Namibia and Botswana!
And I really enjoyed this episode Liv 👍

Hi Liv, am a wildlife specialist and at the national park just after Okavango river bridge was a herd of roan antelopes. I wish you were able to highlight that roan antelopes in Kenya are highly threatened to local extinction and are only found in one national park called Ruma in Lambwe valley in Homabay County. I was exited seeing them roaming freely along the road in your video.

Liv u hav talked of Bodas in E. Africa. Do u knw, in UG Boda Boda biz (Cycle Taxis) started around mid 70´s at de UG-KE borders by use of bicycles, were commuting passengers to de borders and back, its why de name! It was in de time u cld cross de border to & fro without any passport documentation if on foot! I guess in TZ de boda biz started much later. However, will always keep enjoying ur Safari adventure, big up!

I think the reason there many boda bodas in East Africa is because of high populations especially in the cities/towns.. Bodas Bodas ease travel, especially in traffic jams...This is not the case in southern AFrican cities/towns where travelling population is not so much , with hardly in traffic congestions
