After defeating one enemy, why would you go to a meeting with other possible enemies and tell them how your shields and weapons worked? Doesn't make any sense.
This is dumb why would you let a hostile enemy fleet surround your home world before you launched? You should have been running the ship far sooner as soon as they entered the system even before that. hell you should have just sent it with the diplomatic core. A bit of gunboat diplomacy would have kept anyone from having to die. Man these stories can be fun but some of them have just removed their brains when they wrote them.
Very confusing story. We start off with the nasty alien fleet surrounding Earth and then, after much melodrama, we reach 11:08 and everything has magically moved to Proxima Centauri? REALLY? And the alien fleet has grown to 50 ships? And how come someone has to cleverly notice the timed fluctuations in the enemy screens so that the quantum torpedoes can be modified? The first one fired at the flagship over Earth ignored the screens just fine, no clever modifications required at all. Errors like this simply destroy any storyline, especially on top of all the narrative errors. Very shoddy but avoidable with PROOFREADING.
The only thing i will complain is about the ship name "US...". Seriously you are as the aliens in your story, not evolving, unimaginative, thinking humanity in hundreds years will still be governed by Usa.

AI artificial idiocy
It would be USS Nemesis, not US... Better would be UE for United Earth or UEF for United Earth Fleet.
United systems
thought i escaped the chen family curse but one turned up in engineering at least it's a guy.
Lol😂
You will never escape the Galactic Chinese mafia😂😂😂😂
The family chen is back.
The only family that survived the collapse of ancient China.

What brains? This may have been written by a computer. This is one of dozens of stories written on this general theme.

I believe they depend entirely on AI for the English text.
Yes, me too. I'm trying to tell them it's just not working but that doesn't help the awful errors in the main script. Pity.@@flitsertheo
What happened to the rest of the human fleet ?😂😂😂
The Speech to Text algorithm needs a lot of work - too many errors to be taken seriously.
no just need the so called publisher to read his own work and he'd know what's wrong so ai 100%.
It's aye captain not I captain.

quantum this and quantum that, jesus fuck as a sci-fi buzzword it's lost any relevancy.
Cope and make better. Sounds like China
