I have a nice Pickup 1/16 Crawler, and I think that 'Trailer' fits perfectly behind it.
Also because there is a somewhat stronger engine in terms of torque.
I would leave the 'Trailer' rims / tires as standard.
The difference between tractor & trailer is not disturbing. In reality it is, depending on its target use. But... creativity has no limits so let yourself go I would say.
One more thing, in my opinion also a perfect 'trailer' for a Cool 'Food•Trailer', or a Gypsy Caravan.
Or Dirt bikes, Jet skis on this 'trailer' also seems fun.
In short, in addition to your perfect recommendations, this 'Trailer' project can become quite interesting.
Lightweight constructions on the somewhat heavy chassis of the 'trailer' will have no influence on the driving behavior with a 'trailer'. One thing you have to pay attention to is the weight distribution of the 'trailer' itself, especially for maneuvering, parking with RC. ( A single axle 'trailer' is much more difficult to drive when parking. In reality, that is also the case. A little more weight for the axles of the 'trailer' to prevent swinging, and load the towbar with a maximum load of 75 kg. Floats over the track. As far as RC/reality is concerned)
Tip: I use 3mm cardboard for constructions / works of art, ... extremely suitable to get this job done. So you can really go in any direction with an excellent 'Trailer chassis' like this one. 👍🏼
As a conclusion, I would like to suggest that you clean up the battery box of this 'trailer' and make a real cable with a coupling plug like a real 'Trailer' is connected to a car, pick-up or Jeep. The battery box can be given a different function if necessary. Process the batteries in the construction of this 'trailer'.

All and all I think that it's a pretty decent trailer that would go pretty nice behind a 6 wheel tow rig
Me, my Dad, and my brother have been playing with these since thescx24 came out. And we have a lot of trucks. Unfortunately we don't have one that can pull a trailer yet. But I think this is good motivation.

This trailer appears to exceptionally well built. Weight is a problem, but I have several tiny trucks which I think will pull such a trailer with authority. Another great video.

You're going to need to build a tow rig. It's funny I haven't seen very many Crew cab bodies modified for a scx24 platform. My 1:1 TRAILER puller is a 2022 Ram 3500

Good looking trailer. I've been using the plastic trailers from toys. I modified one of my two atlas 6x6 to a stake bed dually to pull the crawler built furitek powered atlas 6x6. I would use this trailer on my trx4m.
I'm working on a real trailer, and I'd love to have this one for some of our RCs! I think the Traxxas side by side would look great on it!

That's the only downside to trailer s. With crawlers having soft suspension they always make the truck squat. Though I've always wanted one for my trucks for scale reason lol. I do like how its machined aluminum, at least I think its aluminum. For when you do hit 16k congrats man you deserve it!

It looks a little big for 1/16 118 it looks awful heavy maybe if you had like a a die-cast body truck sitting on like a powerful motor such as the 4100 bam that make it hot having that much weight on it I don't know or a big strong Torquay brushed motor

Should! Fits my smasher well. If it’s much wider than stock it may not but it has about 4-5mm clearance on the side if you move it to one side of the trailer. Length fits with plenty room to spare.
