Wow, what an incredibly candid interview this was, even vulnerable at certain times. Henry seems to have such a down to earth and pragmatic perspective on acting, hollywood and even his own career.
He was great in Suicide King. He is an inspiration he was a child actor who scored big when that dried up he didn't go down the dark path that most child actors go threw he then reinvented himself as an adult actor artist and musician Way to go Henry
Loved him in a largely forgotten film he did with Huckleberry Fox, Gene Hackman and Rip Torn called "Misunderstood." It was filmed on location in Tunisia and was a very emotionally moving film. Wish it had been released on DVD/BluRay instead of just on VHS. A great film!

I love the honesty of him! The business is weird, exhausting, aggravating and frustrating. As a person who fell quite by accident into TV and by accident worked on a couple of features, I still have my IT freelance jobs to pay the bills. And my IT customers (when the google you) are confused as to why I’m still slaving away in IT. When I tell them how the business is and how bad the rates are (in relation to the hours we out in), they are flabbergasted. Things like stopping a well paying contract at a bank to shoot a 13 episode series and literally 1 day before the shooting getting an email! Saying, oh we’re sorry all new TV productions are canceled. So we won’t be making use of yippie services. Is something that in IT has never happened. There it’s quite the opposite, when after a period you say: “okay guys, it’s been a good run but now I fancy doing something else, they are like. Please reconsider”. I had a situation with one of Henry’s directors where I was asked to bid on a some VFX shots because of some work I’d done for a war movie. So I feel honored being asked! So I ask for the specifications of the shots so I can estimate cost and time. They go like: you need to do this this this and this. We reserve the right to change the shots and you’ll need to accommodate this within the budgeted time and financial constraints. Failing to do say is reprimanded with a fine blah blah blah. I was like: “thank you for the chance to bid. But I’m a business man and this is bad for business, these risks are too big, because of .....” great business summary. I Only got an email from that production company that I’ve been removed from their dictionary as a supplier! And should never bother bidding on any of their productions again!!! The business (especially Hollywood) is so messed up. And many people, just take the risk hoping for fame and fortune, that is rather than bankruptcies of six and vfx studios.
