Dear Fung Bros and Richie Le, I love your videos. Everything you guys talk about is always fun and easy to follow. I genuinely feel like we would be friends if we knew each other in real life. Your food videos are so awesome because I love learning about new types of food and I wish more people would be more open minded about the types of food they eat. Keep it up yall.
Totally agree with you guys. This is gonna be a huge season for JLIN! He's improved his defence and shooting each year since NY, & has become a more complete player after playing in the different systems in Houston & LA. Pretty excited to see him shine!
That's so cool!!! He's probably the first Asian on the team. I live in Charlotte and its great that he's going to playing for our basketball team because there's a smaller Asian community here in Charlotte. It makes me really happy. 😊 I'm really excited! Welcome to Charlotte Jeremy Lin!!!
CONGRATS on finally meetin Jeremy :D :D :D :D!!!! Just recalled an old vid in which you wished to meet him :'). I just started getting into bball because I looked into linsanity (coz I found your linsanity vids hilarious ya'll made me a jlin fan) and found the whole story and his continuing influence amazing. Some of what he says resonates with me and I respect his platform as the first Asian American NBA player, someone who believes in charity and love, a spiritual person, etc. I don't see him as the current best NBA player or even best point guard, but I look forward to watching him grow and hopefully get there. The Hornets seem to really care what Jeremy is about, soooo *crosses fingers* I'm not stayin a LOF and ever so slowly with a help of a friend, learning about the basics of bball and some history so I won't be too lost when the season begins. I love your NBA vids because they're fun and informative, but not to the point where it goes beyond me. Esp the signature moves. Had me DYIN but I was learning new shits too. I say KEEP UP THE ASIANS TALK NBA VIDS :D.
Good move for Jl. He was held back on those high profile teams with high profile players. Now he can play naturally. Anyone who's ever played competitive basketball knows how much confidence and pressure can affect your play. Now watch out cause he's free to play!
I expect Lin to average about 9 pts and 3 assists next season and be solid off the bench. Not a bad pickup for Charlotte because they did need a backup point guard who could potentially fill in if Kemba Walker gets hurt.
Expecting a good year for JLin on the team. JLin is much improved, one of top in his position In isolation defense, lead the league in blocks at his position, and one of the best scoring efficiency for Hornets guards.
Definitely agree with your points and hope he is successful on the Hornets. Pretty cool that I actually played at the park your guys shot this vid in during an Asian Basketball tournament! Keep up the great vids
Yo love ur channel guys. I've watched ur videos for a long time and they've definitely inspired me to try each of the types of foods that you guys tried in ur videos keep it up! And btw, for fung bros food, next time, can u guys do Mongolian food? I would like to see that.
I remember that when the golden state warriors were celebrating for winning the nba champions title and their speech was:"This team has traveled far more than Lebron James and James Harden combined from the bottom to winning the nba champ...etc."
Love your videos guys keep it up. Being from Houston I would have loved for Lin to come back but just glad he got a team they can built around him. Oh yeah don't forget about Yao Ming H-TOWN legend in the game.
Haha, never thought I would see Grand St in one of your videos. Being from cali, you guys were probably not use to seeing handball courts. I would like to see you cover that! NY asians vs. Cali
I live down the street from Time Warner Arena here in CHARLOTTE and the talk is is that they are trying to switch to a more offensive mindset...but at the same time are trying to score a decent shot blocker as they are now acquiring a lot of offensive players and have no one to protect the basket
fung bros, what kind of basketball should i buy. I dont have alot of money, but i still want decent quality, is this possible or do i need to use tons of money. also which brand of basketballs do you like best Wilson or Spalding.
Charlotte/North Carolina actually has a sizable Asian community, but mostly Vietnamese and Hmong. I have a friend who works for the team and for a year he has been telling me that the Hornets has been trying to expand their reach to Asians domestically and internationally, so I'm not surprised Jeremy Lin got signed. The team is going to Shanghai this summer too and with Jeremy it's going to be a huge media promotion. Feel kinda sad that I'm leaving Charlotte this month to the bay area, but I wish Jeremy Lin the best in Queen City!
i dont care what bullshit will come to jlin7, cause i'll always support him at any teams he play for. i just hoping that his career will be better than before.
It would've been better if jeremy went to OKC. Lin is a "pass first" point gaurd. The thunder needs that. They have a scoring point gaurd (Russell Westbrook). Lin can be a backup.
Great videos guys. I am a Lin fan, hands down my favorite player, but wouldn't say only, since Spurs are my team and then Bobcats/Hornets would be next lol, But been a Lin fan since his debut in the summer league with the Mavs. Always loved his play style and how aggressive he was on the court. Plus love his personality and character. Great guy and would love to know him on a personal basis. Another main reason why he is my favorite player is the fact that he is a out spoken Christian Athlete. Always like athletes that are like that. Why Curry is my favorite Star player lol. Overall though him being on the Hornets just makes it better since now don't have to like a team I don't really care for with him on it lol. Now for his move picking the Hornets I feel like its a great place for him. Like you all say small market team which means shouldn't be that much pressure on him and he can just play his style of basketball. I know he can do it. Always have faith in him that every game he will excel in. Next it be a smaller fan base so not that much media will be covering the team so no pressure if he goes into a slump. Overall I feel like either Hornets or Spurs would be the best place for his play style. Not saying since I want him on my favorite teams but each team I feel like he could easily adjust to them.
Wholeheartedly agree with the JLin/Asian-American representation. People are still so in the dark about the perception of Asian males in media. Not only is it good for the Asian hoopers, but asian dudes in general to have a humble hard working guy representing them in the spotlight.
What's so great about having an Asian nba player I'm asian and it doesn't really matter to me how people portray Asians in the media but if it gives any confidence to other Asians to try out for there schools basketball teams then sure. The thing is it doesn't matter how people see your race it's all about how they see you you shouldn't let the media hold you back from what you want to do because everybody is equal so be confident.
***** the Triangle doesn't fit Lin's style. It's a half court offense just like the Lakers' Princeton Offense. So you can forget about him going back to New York.
They literally explained why they liked Jeremy so much at the end. Why do yall make it seem like it's so bad to be a fan of a player that's your own race?
He'll most likely be playing the Pick and Pop with his Powers being a bit more into the Stretch 4 position rather than actual power forwads. His score numbers will go up but he won't be able to work the pick and roll as well because of the players he'll be paired up with so his assist numbers might stay the same or go down depending on his minutes. I'm thinking maybe 11 2 and 3 mostly because Kemba is a good point gaurd who is only getting better so Jeremy won't get much playing time unless he's alongside Kemba and even then Kemba is the primary ball handler.
It's the best chance for him to be moved in Hornets and revive his career. He have a high IQ in basketball, he will be a best fit on the team, can't wait to see him play with Kemba.
I don't know of any new Asian American players to watch, but a new Asian player to watch is Yuta Watanabe from Japan. He's a 6' 8" forward who played his freshman year at George Washington University. He's got a lot of talent and could be a future NBA star.
He was in Golden State before the Knicks.
Dear Fung Bros and Richie Le,

Alan Diec yeah that was his first team, but he the a bench warmer since Linsanity didn't happen yet
Happy to have lin in Charlotte, my hometown
That's so cool!!! He's probably the first Asian on the team. I live in Charlotte and its great that he's going to playing for our basketball team because there's a smaller Asian community here in Charlotte. It makes me really happy. 😊

I love J.Lin because he always down to earth :)
I expect Lin to average about 9 pts and 3 assists next season and be solid off the bench. Not a bad pickup for Charlotte because they did need a backup point guard who could potentially fill in if Kemba Walker gets hurt.
It's funny because i'm a Laker fan and i grew up near Charlotte so Jeremy is following me.
Expecting a good year for JLin on the team. JLin is much improved, one of top in his position In isolation defense, lead the league in blocks at his position, and one of the best scoring efficiency for Hornets guards.

Wasn't he on the Warriors too ?
Yeah I believe he played 3 games with the Warriors😂
Ohh he played like a couple games yeah but they ended that quick, he's good but they already have a set offense line up
He played on the Warriors in his rookie season, played crap and got cut.

AsianIslanderFOB Thanks homie!
R u guys at NYC?
Correction fellas, Jeremy Lin started out as a Golden State Warrior before he went to the Knicks
MJ is the majority owner.
And Charlotte has a few defensive players. MKG, Batum, and Zeller all rely quite extensively on defense, especially MKG.
OMG THE FUNGBROS WERE AT THE BROADWAY BBALL COURT
OMG!!!
R u guys in Chinatown New York
Great videos guys. Wholeheartedly agree with the JLin/Asian-American representation. People are still so in the dark about the perception of Asian males in media. Not only is it good for the Asian hoopers, but asian dudes in general to have a humble hard working guy representing them in the spotlight.

Should have went back to New York....
He doesn't want to play in the triangle
***** Hornets got a better team than the Knicks has at the moment
***** the Triangle doesn't fit Lin's style. It's a half court offense just like the Lakers' Princeton Offense. So you can forget about him going back to New York.
***** Dude number 7 and 17 is takened, dont you think bruhh> smh
He could easily just ask Early to give up #17 or wear another number...
They literally explained why they liked Jeremy so much at the end. Why do yall make it seem like it's so bad to be a fan of a player that's your own race?
didn't jeremy lin play against kemba walker in highschool ?
you forgot that he was once a Golden State Warrior! :O

Welcome to the East Coast Lin.! Go Hawks .!
no wayyy at grand street courts???? IM ON MY WAY
He'll most likely be playing the Pick and Pop with his Powers being a bit more into the Stretch 4 position rather than actual power forwads. There in Chinatown, New York!!!!
I love jeremey Lin I also think he is a good fit for the hornets I am from Orlando so I wish he went to the magic but it's cool

The day he got traded I checked your TH-cam channel I waited a week for this video lol
he also played on the Golden State Warriors.
It's the best chance for him to be moved in Hornets and revive his career. He have a high IQ in basketball, he will be a best fit on the team, can't wait to see him play with Kemba.
There gonna Bench HIs ASS😂😂😂
Holy crap that's the park in Chinatown I always go to when I go there 😰
Plus he's a hardcore christian so he'll fit right in Charlotte
Cool thanks for the info
He was also a Golden State Warrior too. You guys forgot to mention.
I don't know of any new Asian American players to watch, but a new Asian player to watch is Yuta Watanabe from Japan. He's a 6' 8" forward who played his freshman year at George Washington University. He's got a lot of talent and could be a future NBA star.
