Thank you so much for this much needed explanation Katherine, to the people entering this world of finding an "Editor" & a "Ghostwriter". It can be tough and there are some shady people out there. I was lucky to have my book written and published through "Writers Of The West" and that saved me a great amount of time and hassle!
Thanks for the video! I use D2D for paperback only right now, so I could list my book with the Great British Bookshop without having to deal with Ingram and it's been working 🙂 I just got Autocrit mainly for the comparison tool, I still like ProwritingAid too
I've heard if D2D, question ... does Amazon have a problem with you using it as well? You mention all the platforms you are published, but we've been worried to do that because of Amazon's fine print 'upload elsewhere and get the ban hammer ' 😅 thoughts ?
Great questions! If your Amazon books are published as part of their optional 'KDP Select' program (ie: Kindle Unlimited), it is my understanding that you cannot list those books anywhere else, not even free for your own websites. If your books are not in Kindle Select, though, (which means they aren't available through Kindle Unlimited) and are just regularly published e-books on Kindle, they have a different set of terms which do not ban the use of publishing on other retailers' sites to my knowledge. That is, of course, my understanding of their terms of service, but I'd suggest taking a peek at KDP's terms yourself and double-checking which contract your books fall under before risking a ban. My KU books are not available anywhere but KU, right now. My 'wide' books that are on both D2D and Amazon are not enrolled in KU.

Thank you for watching, and for sharing about your experience with D2D's print book program and AutoCrit!
