All you need is to use ACPWorkbench on amplifier's DSP . I've bought the H50 in spite of everybody denigrating it's sound . I've modified the DSP settings with ACPWorkbench and now I have an amplifier which can stand against some of my best amplifiers - and I have at least 25 pieces, vintage and modern . In a minute I can load other DSP configuration and I am ready to go listening the most diverse music . And I paid only 215 $ with some previous code . Sure it is worth a lot more .
Can confirm on all counts. The subwoofer thump is alarming, the sound quality is weak and weedy, and it takes quite a long time (10-15 seconds) to find my wifi network every time I wake it from standby. I got lured by the promise of an all-in-one streamer/dac/amp unit for a fraction of the price of the Powernode or SoundBase. Turns out you get what you pay for. Or less.
It seems like they made a lot of compromises to appeal to more people, like an unnecessary phono input. Instead it appeals to nobody. You probably saved some people a lot of money and head aches.
this product makes no sense at $400 even with a 20% discount... thing is full size AVRs arent too much more... the Arylic low end offerings are much more attractive... ie. the B50 BP50 B50SE etc. - you are getting the same low performance at a fraction of the cost.... same POP sounds too... but at this price you can justify a lot... but at $400?? these guys need a wake up call
Yeah, I can get a Denon AVR for $300 or a nice Marantz for $600. I was going to mention that in the pricing section but figured I'd beaten the horse to death already, lol.
Although I would never had bought this I still found it very interesting, thanks for taking the time to make the video.
Thank you for watching!

Awesome!
You have to use REW and ACPWorkbench. It has a full DSP!

Sorry to hear you had the same issues!

Yeah, I think this is one of those “looks good on paper” designs that fell short unfortunately.
Haven't tried my B50 yet due to my living situation, but once that and cheap speakers sound better than midrange TV speakers, I'll be more than happy.
Agreed on that front!
Hi! Can you tell me if he has an indicator on the display in standby mode?
It does have a small red LED that illuminates when the amp is in standby.
@@ErikEmstad Thank you friend!
