I was worried the mum of the first bride was going to be difficult, but she completely surprised me when she came through and told her daughter it's all about her and what she wants not what the mum or entourage wants. Great mum right there.
Its SO sweet that Stefanie's Mom went back & reminded her to pick the dress SHE loved! Had Mom not done that the Bride may have become overwhelmed and left without her gown.
That's not at all what I thought we were going to see from the title! So heartwarming. I'm so glad that bride got such a perfect dress at such a discount (which she didn't ask for!).
She was just so lucky to find the perfect dress, in the perfect size, in the discount/sale gowns. Just proves that when you are on a budget, you need to keep an open mind about style and look in the discounts gowns to find the perfect one!
The second girl's reaction to the dresses she tried on made me smile her and her parents especially her mom seem so sweet and the dress she chose looked stunning on her.
Title is inaccurate, lol. The second bride didn't ask for the discount. Randy just happened to find a dress that was on sale that was above budget and asked if it could be within budget.
It is so refreshing to see a member of the family let alone the mother come and say this is your address do not let us sway what you think that is amazing I’ve never seen that on the show before that mother is so supportive and she rocks ❤❤❤
The second dress is so good in that budget I have seen brides coming coming with real high budgets and still go home with basic dresses. Happy for her ☺️
it's so weird that a bride will be like "i absolutely love this dress but my entourage isn't doing their gimmick" and she turns around and they do the thing because THEY know SHE loves it and it doesn't matter how they feel, and then the bride is surprised like "OH THEY CHANGED THEIR MINDS THEY LOVE IT!" no honey they are humoring you so that you will pull the trigger and buy the dress you love.
I am so happy that the first bride's family came around and supported her choice of dress. The title of this video is misleading as the second bride didn't ask for a discount, it was offered to her. There's a difference.
Every mother does NOT want to see her daughter in a princess dress. I don't get this mentality. My daughter will choose the dress she loves and i will love it because she does. It's literally that simple.
I’ve already been dress searching with my girls for prom and I told them then and there that it’s their prom dresses, not mine. They choose what they love not what they think I might like. That’s the way I am and that’s the way I’ll be when it’s their time for their weddings. It’s their choice!
Thank you for this. In Germany, there only is one prom and I wore an understated dress that my mum pressured me into. I would have picked a bright pink dress with a deep cut back that I still think about to this day, 9 years later. Instead of supporting my choice, she criticized me till I gave in and wore the boring navy blue dress she wanted me to wear. Still bitter about it. I don’t think I will take her to pick my wedding dress one day.
You wouldn't be though, lol. The consultant shops for you or you're shopping with the consultant. You're not going to casually walk into Kleinfelds and look at the dresses by yourself. They don't allow that.
@@nyamheria Everything is by appointment only and you have to work with a consultant who will pull things for you from the stockroom. You can browse the showroom of course but you can’t just walk into the store and browse with your friends and leave 15 minutes later. It’s an upscale bridal salon. It’s not a Macys, lol.
The first Mom is my hero. This is how it works. Support your daughter. Smile and allow her to have confidence in HER choice of dress. What a great Mom ❤
The title is misleading and I almost skipped this episode because of it, but I'm glad I watched it. Both of these brides are sweet and beautiful and have fantastic taste! One of the best episodes!
"I want everyone to love the dress." But what are the odds that a group of people are all going to love a dress? To quote Ricky Nelson, "You can't please everyone so you got to please yourself."
Nobody loved the dress, except the bride. Ultimately, that is all that matters. But I don't know if I could fake liking that dress! Great bodice, awful skirt.
While watching this I had a flashback to the seventies and my (first) wedding. My mother shopped for a dress with me. She picked out Cinderella's wedding gown with the peplums on the sides and all. I'm six feet tall in high heels. She begged me to try it on and I never laughed so hard in my life, looking in the mIrror. I went with an ecru gown, straight down with no waist, with lace down the front and a mantilla with the lace coming down the sides, framing the lace of the gown. Thank goodness I didn't have to wear the other one!!!
Group 1: Takes no account for how the bells may irritate the CRAP out of other people trying on dresses. With my sensory issues I would have came unglued if I were another bride shopping for my dress.
@@tessaolcott_ Actually, she will...notice the little jacket, the veil, the shoes? And then the jewelry, make-up, hairdresser. Oh, it is neverending! LOL
I don’t have kids so maybe I’m missing something but I can’t imagine telling someone MY vision is more important than yours for YOUR wedding dress. These moms need to get over themselves.
I remember in another episode a bride was looking for the 2nd bride’s dress during their sample sale but it was no longer available. I guess this was the last piece. 😊 beautiful and a bargain!
I don't have a problem with mom's wanting to see their daughter in a princess dress as long as they don't insist they wear it for the wedding and take a mental picture
Why did I think that this was going to be like extreme cheapskates. Lol. I thought she was gonna try to get a dress for $5. There was an episode in that show where a mom bought her daughter a crappy stained and outdated wedding dress from a PAWN SHOP for like $20. And then she had the wedding in a school gymnasium. I felt so bad for the daughter. And they had a homemade cake for the wedding cake. Like a rectangular box cake with store bought frosting lol. And paper plates.
I quite literally tried on everything, but mermaid style. I am clumsy enough without limited motion. I also 100% would be finding a dress that I could be comfortable in shoes wearing I don’t need stilettos I wanna be comfortable in. Enjoy my day. My best friend in college wanted a dress for her wedding and a white pantsuit for her reception because she just wanted to dance, and I totally understand!!
The dress bride no.1 picked is absolutely fabulous for her and the perfect pick for a holiday themed wedding. Love it ❤ Bride no. 2 is cute as a button but that dress is wearing her instead of the other way around, it’s just too much of a good thing.
I know I'm weird, but I do *not* like the look of the really fancy beaded/crystals/metallic embroidery on the bodice and absolutely nothing on the skirt. At least carry the decorations down onto the skirt while getting simpler the farther down on the skirt they go, but tons of decoration on the top then nothing at all on the skirt doesn't look at all good.
I think Stephanie's Mum was right to want to see her in a princess style. I think she would have knocked it out of the ballpark. Loved her choice though.
All mothers out there, who think their daughters should only wear a princess dress, just let them pick out what they feel best in! My mother was so crazy to let me pick out the dresses I liked, I tried them on, and she asked me how I liked it and I would critique it. And then I found the perfect dress for my body and personality, and she said I looked beautiful. That is how buying a wedding dress should be for mothers and daughters! I look forward to doing that with my own daughter someday. Thank you, mom! 💗
My mom bought my sister everything she wanted for the dress 👗 tiara and shoes and her Thai wedding 💒 dress too . She had two different dresses 👗 but my sister was very considerate of the money 💴 so she didn’t go over board
I was worried the mum of the first bride was going to be difficult, but she completely surprised me when she came through and told her daughter it's all about her and what she wants not what the mum or entourage wants. Great mum right there.
So refreshing to see that ❤
I was thinking that exact same thing!! I loved her mom for that ❤
They edit it that way or we wouldn’t watch
Thank goodness she did too. Despite what she wanted her daughter to wear she really wanted her to be happy. That's the main thing.
Yes I was relieved 🥲

omg it was magically refreshing lol. I love that Mom and it maybe made me tear up just a little to see her be so genuinely supportive.
That is amazing that the bridal shop sold her the dress within her budget like that! Also, that little coat she adds at the end is pretty!
The second dress is so good in that budget I have seen brides coming coming with real high budgets and still go home with basic dresses. Happy for her ☺️

Even when they did love a dress, they didn't ring the bells because that is just an awkward reaction to have.

She is just so beautiful everything she puts on looks so stunning 😍
shes so slender that I liked her better in the fuller dress

‘I want timeless’ … is put in nothing that could resemble timeless, in any way shape or form.

Wow that second dress through. Absolutely stunning!
This bride's mom is THE BEST!
I hate when people bring bells and such because not everyone likes the constant sound of bells.
That second one was a super bargain.
I felt the jingle bells the first time she put it on and the holiday mood.
I remember in another episode a bride was looking for the 2nd bride’s dress during their sample sale but it was no longer available. I guess this was the last piece. 😊 beautiful and a bargain!
First bride rocked that dress.
I kept thinking the tan lines on the first bride were part of the dresses! DOH

She looked beautiful!!
That first dress does look whimsical and Christmasy !
That second mum is so me! I would love every dress on my daughter and cry every time! 😂😂🥹

Because bells are tacky & disturb everyone else. There's a reason we were given intelligence to speak instead of ring a bell like pavlovs dog.
Now that’s a great mom!
You can tell daughter is more like a younger sister than a daughter
How beautiful that last wedding dress..
