I've noticed some patterns in Classic Mode. In Round 1, you fight a character that's from the Zelda games. In Round 2, you either fight Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong with Yoshi as ally or Giant Yoshi with someone else (I totally forgot) as ally. In Round 4, you either fight Ness and Lucas with Marth or Ike as ally, or Marth and Ike with Ness or Lucas (usually Ness) as ally. After every 5 rounds, there's the target break challenges. Finally, in Round 11, you have a free-for-all brawl with 3 different characters. That's pretty much all I've found. Edit: Just found out the allies for Round 2 against Giant Yoshi. It's Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong.
Yeah. The Classic Mode in Brawl is structured weirdly. i.e. You get 2 allies to help you fight Giant Yoshi, only get 1 ally for giant opponents in rounds 3-5, and you get no allies for giant opponents that appear in rounds 6-10. So you *want* the giant battles to come early.
@@Werten25 why they decide to Nerf Giant Battles and made them harder with no allies is beyond me. In just 2 hits most of the giants can easily OHKO you on Intense mode
They should do it based on difficulty. So on Easy and Normal, you get 2 allies, on Hard and Very Hard you get 1 ally, and on Intense... well, you're playing on the hardest difficulty, what are you expecting? Now this does mean that a giant fight could not happen on round 6 on Easy or Normal since only Samus and Olimar can show up on that round so there wouldn't be enough characters. But I still think this would be better.
@@Werten25 it’s just wierd though the structure. Only the Giant Yoshi battle you get 2 allies and the rest either 1 or none Hmm In Smash Bros 3DS it was a little better structured
Thanks for the 1,000 percent nostalgia

Yeah, I seriously don’t get it either, even after 12.5 years.
