In my opinion, I think it is because Twilight lost everything, and yet it seems that she and her friends were forgotten and all their effort Because if you saw the Netflix movie, you will see that the Ponies ended up dividing between the species and each species even being racist against each other, practically making all of Twilight's efforts in vain and even more so taking into account that this caused the magic would disappear completely Anyone in her situation would be corrupted.
