I got my switch lite about a week ago and currently playing assassins creed. The switch is amazing despite the negative comments by some people. Some would say you should just get a ps5 instead or the steam deck, but at the end of the day, it's about you. So if you enjoy handheld consoles, then get the switch. The only difference between the switch and the steam deck is that the switch has a small library of games and doesn't have many aaa games while the steam deck has a huge library of games. But I'm not really a gamer and I'm not buying every games out there, so the switch is just fine and perfect for me.

Black and white colored console just gives a modern look
I always wanted a white console but my PSP, 3DS, and PS3 are all black lol
Yes it's incredible how white looked modern on the Wii/Ds era, then on the late Wii/ Wii U era black looked modern and now both color togheter look new
(If I wasn't clear, I meant that people thought white felt modern on the Nintendo Wii and the DS family.
Now white and black have returned for Switch OLED, PS5 and Xbox Series S and those colors work really well because all three the console look like they came from the future.
Those designs (Series X included) look a lot more modern than the previous generation, except for maybe Xbox where the difference was smaller.)

Each console does the same thing, but in an unique way and I love that!
Tbh I was never a big fan of the series but the aesthetics keeps making me want to buy it again.

They fixed the docking issue and now I have a mint condition switch OLED, pretty happy other than I'm concerned with scratching the very sensitive film on the front until I'm able to find a reputable screen protector
What is the docking issue?
@@joebangles03 I think he's talking about how the other switches had plastic screens so I think they could get scarthed if you put in the dock

what is the seed? great game, but every time I load a world its usually worlds with barely any trees or mountains out of stone. Usually play for 20 minutes and delete the world and start over.
Why does yours look so 60fps compared to what I’ve seen. Im scared to buy it if mine doesn’t perform like this. I have an oled also

The OLED isn’t worth it for me, I’ll be waiting for the New Switch / Switch Pro or for the next fully new Nintendo console. I currently have a Switch V1, only after 3 years of playing on it it already is having problems by not connecting to the TV when putting it in the dock (No Signal showing on TV when it’s docked) and the right analog stick doesn‘t click, it works fine but you can’t press it like a button anymore. I believe Nintendo used low quality plastic on the V1 Switch because after 3 years it looks in worse condition (some light scratches and burnt in skin oil) than my DSi XL and Wii U.

Hey I am currently thinking of getting the OLED. I don't have v1 so I want to get the best version when I do get a switch, you say that you will be waiting the "New switch"/ pro version so do you think I should wait too?
@@simon2091 Yes, it’d be good to wait for the New Switch / Switch Pro. The current Switch is weaker than almost any 2018-2021 smartphone, in the latest games it struggles to run at 1080p with stable 30 FPS, in some games it can occasionally drop down to like 15-20 FPS and stutter a lot with the fan running at full speed
Hopefully Nintendo releases a New Switch / Switch Pro wich gets up to 1080p with stable 60FPS in every game and a 7 inch LCD / LED 900p or 720p screen (or MiniLED if that’s possible on a 300$ console, I don’t want an OLED screen because it can get burn ins)
@@simon2091 IMO if you have the V1 Switch I kinda suggest upgrading to the OLED. Since it now has 60gb of eternal storage, improved stand and a nice screen. And the V1 Switch has a cheaper chip and the V2/OLED has a improved one. :)

i had the v1 switch from 2017 then upgraded to the newer improved switch in 2019 when it first came out. Is the oled much different?
If your play handheld only. TV mode there is no difference other than Ethernet port
