Two finger technique, not realizing pressure, apart from that what he is using is an hemostatic gauze that activates with the blood making it clothe. If that gauze touches blood outside the wound it will defeat the propose and will not stop the bleeding, and you will have to start agin.

Do it with two fingers and make sure you are not realasing any pressure while packing, in simple words just keep it tight and fitted inside and let it losen or u lose it
