Winter Time Fishing Deadsticking and Bait Fishing on Lake Texoma! Thumpers are Super Effective!

- This is an EPIC thumping video that really showcases the effectiveness of a thumper when fishing during the winter months. Ed and I fished with John, a TH-cam subscriber who lives close to Texoma. We hit one spot that had been hot recently and marked fish suspended in the river channel. We then moved over to the edge of the river channel in 38-40 feet of water and turned on the thumper… The bite was insane! We were able to limit out with 30 fish within an hour however we released a few smaller fish that were not deep hooked and decided to see if the deadstick bite had started. We set off in search of deadsticking fish and were able to find several fish that were willing to bite! This was an easy 30 fish in an hour trip with the fish responding super well to the thumper! and had them respond to the thumper every time.

Good point Skunked again! I sell plenty of thumpers to people who tried to build one themselves and just didn’t get it quite right! I’ve been building for 3 years now with lots of improvements along the way!

I'm going to remember your channel, I just finished my thumper today..spent more on it than I thought I would. On my third motor. Buying stuff on line sucks, if I had my hands on them I would have never bought the first two.
Luckily the were very cheap, yes I know, that should have been a red flag right off the bat.
Ordered a second controller because I didn't diagnose the momentary switch properly.
Plus I'm loosing rpms even on high speed of the wiper motor.
Testing it tomorrow!

I also built a thumper. Unfortunately not as reliable as I’d like. May just have to buy one.
Thanks for catching that! I never did get the water temperature but it was probably 55… if I built one thumper it would probably take me 3-4 hours and I have jigs to cut everything to the exact right specifications to get the maximum effectiveness. I think it’s better to buy one than try to build. Additionally mine come with a warranty! www.thumpemupfishing.com

We have been fishing mid lake. We caught those fish at McGlaughlin creek and near the cross…
