I love the interviews here; while the drivers are not very much in a talking mood just before the start, their answers still have a measure of that everyman tone that sportsmen today don't always give out. Also the unquestionably Finnish realism, these guys won't say they're going to win unless they are pretty sure they actually will. (Interviewing Timo) "Your season this far has been a bit of a mess. Will this event be different?" Timo: "Well, let's hope it will. We've had some bad luck, but it's like a card game, your luck will turn sooner or later." "How much will Juha be trailing you once you get to Tampere?" Timo: "Oh you can't say who will be trailing who here, but we'll try to go fast..." "What should the weather be like, dry or wet?" Timo: "We just got the word that the three first stages, so stages two and three, those should be just about dry." "That fits you?" "Yes well it's never so much fun to drive in the rain. Rather have it dry." (At the same time, the main commentator is heard saying "Get a repairman here stat, the monitor just broke.")
