Living in east Tennessee I'm still learning how to catch'em on crank baits. Used to live up north a lot more grass and weedless fishing. Thanks for the videos. I'm learning a lot.
Edwin, I’ve been fishing for over 70 years , mostly for bass, and I’m still trying to learn from experts like yourself. Your videos helped me catch over 1,700 largemouth bass from my kayak last season. You always have great info.
Thank you Edwin for all that you do for us local fisher people. My daughter and I are getting better and better every club tourny because of these videos. She held the big bass for the year up until this past weekend with a 4.89lb. Please don't stop what you do. You are a tremendous human being and hope to see you when the Classic comes back to Hartwell.
My wife and I taught fly fishing for 45 years. We both had right shoulder surgery 2 years ago, and the casting motion is still too painful for a day on the water. We found that side arm motions work much better, so we switched to spinning and baitcasting. Your videos helped us shorten the transition to bass fishing, we watch them together. We ran a fly fishing program in our local school district for 10 years, so bringing new people into fishing has always been important to us. Our kids fish and our many grandkids fish as well. Please keep up the good work, your videos are helping so many people.
I’m a retired fire fighter who travels with my wife I get to fish all over your videos and bait selections have helped me fish with confidence I have not been bass fishing but two years and on just two lakes in S.C. Thanks for what you do
Learning new knowledge & skills is without a doubt the most important thing in life. I started my son fishing when he was about 3 years-old, and as the years went by I had taught him everything I knew (which wasn't much after 20 years of fishing, I came up fishing worms & jigs, not much else). Watching & listening to you has upped our game. But things come around - my boy is now the teacher and I've happily become the student. Thanks so much for sharing your years of experience, which has helped us think differently and therefore learned so much.
I live over here in Ott DeFoe territory and ran into him at the store the other day. We laughed over the video where you had to take a swim in that Texas river, lol. I fished for years then several years back my youngest son got into golf so we spent every moment possible to get him to his goals and dreams there. He ended up as captain of the highschool team after competing with kids who had played since they could walk. He is getting into fishing now and we have watched almost every video you have shared, lol, and both he and I love not only your instruction but your attitude and the heart you show for the sport and your viewers. Love the old Lowrance flasher in the background of this video - I had that unit way back when I was getting started. Thanks for all you bring to this and I look forward to watching my son take the lessons you are sharing and learn this terrific sport.
Live on Lake Eufaula Alabama and your videos help me catch me more fish every month. Thank you so much for what you do for all of us. It shows you truly care about your followers!
First time commenter on the channel, but long time follower. Like many of your followers I too take great joy in taking all three of my children and now my grandchildren fishing and watching your videos and following your advice has undoubtably made myself and in turn my children better anglers and better stewards of our sport. I cannot thank you enough for your tips and advice as they have been very helpful and make fishing more fun!
Reminds me of Franc White, The Southern Sportsman. Always ended the show with "Do yourself a favor, take a kid fishing." I grew up watching him every week in his Zebra plane. Great memories!!
Living in Texas, on a highland reservoir. Summer and pressure puts the big fish off shore. I struggle with this,so your help is invaluable. Please keep them coming, my son and I are sponges watching your videos. Thank you and your team..!!
My goodness Edwin you are giving away all your secrets. God bless you for that it has been so helpful for this novice fisherman to land more fish. Keep making them cause i will keep watching them.
I love snapping a tube all summer long. Works great for both largemouth and smallmouth. And it catches a lot of walleyes and northern pike as well. Thanks for the info Edwin.
Absolutely loving the tips! You're right, I can't find any Tubes up here in Connecticut or online. Thank you for giving out the all the fishing wisdom Edwin! You have helped me so much. Keep up the great work! and God bless!
Thanks for all the advice. I have three daughters that have taken a liking to fishing and we watch all your videos to understand the art of fishing a little more. I have fished local ponds for most of my life, but honestly with only live bait, ie. worms and leeches. Thanks for teaching my family how to fish the plastic baits. Have a good season.
Edwin, I could listen to you all day. I learn a lot from watching your videos. You should be a teacher. Thank you for taking the time and sharing your tips and tricks. Good luck to you sir.
Edwin these are my favorite videos. I mainly fish Toledo Bend and what I’m learning from your videos is giving me more confidence and I’m consistently catching more fish.
I’m a 15 year old in Oklahoma. Love your videos as they help my dad and I catch fish. We both aren’t very experienced so we’re still learning what baits to throw depending on the time of year. Thanks and good luck at watts bar
Edwin. You are by far my favorite pro to listen to, I have taken so much of the info and baits that you recommend to the lake and been successful despite past failed attempts. You truly help me understand how things actually work under the water, and I’m so thankful for your generosity.
I’ll add, I live in the mountains of WNC. Which is notorious for super finicky, deep fish in our reservoirs. Your techniques have helped me develop as a new angler even in a special area like mine.
Thanks so much! It’s like getting a lake guide every video of yours I watch. The lures, depths to fish for each month are a invaluable tool. I’m a Hugh Berkley fan, especially the max scents. I’m taking the video to Table Rock this coming weekend. Thanks again Edwin!
Hey Mr Evers I have to say that you give some of the best advice all around for every thing we really appreciate all you give us, we will keep up with you forever, thank you.
Going fishing with my kids (ok, they're adults now...) on Father's Day! I can't wait. My daughter was just reorganizing tackle today, with some stuff I got her for Christmas, but she's been up at college. Fun to watch her go through and have fun with that part of fishing too! All the best to you! Congrats on your new personal best!
Love your videos! My son starts fishing the school fishing club tourneys June 10th. I told him to go back and start watching yours specifically because of the information you put out there. He's excited and learning alot from you! Keep doing what you do!
My wife and I have followed you since we began fishing together here on the lower end of Bull Shoals Lake. We especially like your on the lake videos where you try to figure out where they are and how to get 'em. Many of those lakes are much like ours so it is real helpful. We appreciate your heart ........ yes it is that obvious. 😊
Thank you for your videos. I've just gotten back into fishing after about 15 years due to this stupid depression. Life has sucked for a long time. These videos help me learn to fish better. I believe being out in nature is helping. Catching a fish just makes it better. God bless.
Thank you, Edwin. You probably don't remember but I met you in person at the Raleigh bass expo a few years ago before Covid. I learned a lot from your seminar at the bass tank and your videos have helped me tremendously in putting more fish in the boat. In fact, I got 2nd in my club tournament here on Jordan Lake, NC thanks to your May top 3 baits with the Berkely jaywalker! I would have had 1st, but I halted my walk when she missed it the 1st time. She was big! God bless, Chuck (Chuckster-bass)
Really enjoying your videos. I have recently moved to upstate SC and have been fishing Lake Hartwell and Lake Keowee. The information you provide by month has helped me immensely and have put many bass in my boat. Thank you again. Happiness is a tight line!!!!

Had the chance to meet you back in 2005 at one of the Bassmaster Open tournaments here at Lake Lewisville in Texas. I was only about 5 or 6 and here I am today at 21 years of age still watching you. Still motivated as ever to make bass fishing a career and maybe one day cross paths with you again!

Edwin, I watched your video on the Agent E bait and decided to buy a few packages to try on a local power plant lake here in Texas where the bass don't bite regular jigs. Within my first few casts I was on 'em! Needless to say I went online to Bass Pro Shops and stocked up on several more packages. Thanks you (and Berkley) for such a great bait!

I also fish at least 3x week located on the 300 miles of the rock river. My grand son started life at 1lb 8oz but now is over 16lbs and doing well. Can't wait to get him on the water. Praise God . Your are such a great teacher and pro, would love to share my tube invention with you .Takes dye, cent and gives a great profile with end less possibilities. Thanks again for speaking your faith
I started learning how to tube fish a couple of years ago. I love the advice Mr. Evers.
Thanks for the videos again Mr. Edwin! I am from Northern IL, TUBES YES SIR! Just a tip for everyone on that tube, cut the rubber skirt so it's un-even,& looks kinda ragged, just like you would a spinnerbait skirt, apply that enhancement and notice the bite differential! Tight lines!
New to lake fishing and these videos have helped me figure out the different ways to fish. Thank you.
Love these monthly videos, they are on point and easy to adopt for my own conditions. Keep them coming
live in south mississippi love fishing with my son and grandson your tips and presentation are really interesting and helpful for finding new ways to catch bass thanks for what you do for educating the younger generation on bass fishing
Thank you for the explanation of the different depths on these crank baits. Big help! Keep feeding us!
