Are you using a Lowrance scupper mount for the Garmin? I have the Garmin 7SV and want to mount it to my Brooklyn Pro 10.5 Pedal kayak. It has a recessed area for the transducer and 2 mounting (screw) holes but can't find a way to mount it? The screws that came with the transducer to mount it to the supplied mount are too short to use in any other application except for the bracket provided with the unit? And with the transducer mounted that high does it affect/obstruct the side view? TIA
How has this Nocqua battery done for you as in lasting time on water before running low battery time?I had just bought a garmin and havent even put it on kayak yet as i haven't bought battery for it i so like this small size and weight of the Nocqua thinking of getting one
Hey, thanks for commenting! I will tell you this, I have taken the kayak out multiple times and I’ve only charged the battery one time. The battery will definitely last a long time on a full charge! Also if you aren’t subscribed yet, I would appreciate it if you would consider! I hope this helps and if you have any more questions, feel free to let me know!
I think I'm gonna go with a very similar set up, what did you pay for the finder? I can get last year's for $700 (Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 93 V W/GT54) vs $1200 current one.

This is the Nevarre Kayak Fishing mount for the Garmin. Also no issues with side view either :) Remember to subscribe if you aren’t yet!
@@TUFFBASS when I search that brand all I see is Lowrance?

Mine was 1200$ as I went with the higher resolution UHD2 93sv. But either way you won’t be disappointed!
How long do you think that battery will run the unit for?
I am not sure about exactly how long, but I used it today for about 1 hour 30 minutes, and had over 90% left
