I had trouble binding this receiver to my FlySky I6X. I tried at least a half a dozen times and it just sat there telling me it was binding. The rapid flash on the receiver went to a slow flash, but the transmitter just kept trying to bind it. Finally in a fit of frustration, I hit the Cancel button, and THAT bound it up.
Actually, it's interesting that you were able to bind it at all, because this one is designed for Frsky (not Flysky) transmitters. EDIT: I wasn't aware of the Multiprotocol Mod for the I6X, as mentioned by Simplistic RC 🙂

Good you got it working. You must have the 'Flysky MultiProtocol Mod' on your FlySky I6X

Your gains my be to high or you may have a defected RX seeing you had a bind button problem.
What is the length of the antenna section where there is no metal braid?
