Love the accessible nature of the recipe. But the father - son interaction is golden. Dad being a father throughout: supporting his kid. Brilliant! This is a winner
My man’s got a perfect voice. That is a confident, comforting baritone. It had me thinking that after the recipe, he was going to report the traffic and weather on the 8s.
What a wonderful video. The father son interplay was heart warming. And I learned how to make a delicious Chinese American chicken dish. Thank you ATK.
So my american husband moved to the Uk and i've never heard of General Tso's chicken there is a lot of recipes out there that are just to confusing this was easy and simple to make and it tasted great ,I will def be watching more videos of Jeffery and Kevin love your interactions together
Love these two gentlemen!! My favorite moment was when Kevin suggested they go a little faster when breading the chicken and Dad said "patience". It was such a gentle reminder. Just lovely! Can't wait to try this with cubed, breaded and fried tofu.
This duo needs to be a more regular occurrence. Amazing, simple recipe for what looks like the BEST Tso's chicken homemade. Great choice on the plate swap, Mr. Kevin!
This is by far one of my favorite episodes. The food looks and sounds amazing, and a perfect dynamic with you and your father. Mom would only enhance it.
Thank you for posting recipes for Chinese food! This is my favorite dish and I can’t wait to try it at home to save money. More videos from this adorable father/son duo!
I have started cooking from your new cookbook 'A Very Chinese Cookbook' and am loving it! This is the next dish I want to try. You need to make another video series with more recipes from the book.
Growing up in the 80's there was a show I loved to watch when I was home sick from school it was called Wok With Yan he would cook the most amazing food these 2 remind me of him I could watch them foe hours
I want to thank you Gentlemen so very much for this one. I judge a Chinese or Asian restaurant by their Lo Mein, and my wife judges them by their Fried Rice. I love Chinese food, but the one thing I have NEVER been able to try is "General Tso's" because it is always spicy (as in Hot). I can't eat that. Now I know how to make it myself, and keep out the heat. Wonderful guys, and I agree with some other commenters, keep them coming.
Yes, we want son and pop together in more videos!!! Love this dynamic, while proud mom sat in the background. This took out all the mystery of making this meal. Looks so easy. Will definitely give it a go. This is my favorite meal, along with Mongolian Beef. Shrimp with Walnuts and Spicy Eggplant also works. I miss the great PuPu Platter appetizers with the little hibachi, Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls or Spring Rolls and Shrimp Toast, Sticky Pork Rib...and some authentic hotter-than-hot chili oil would be great.
I love the father son, they are so fun to cook with. It was my first time and I was so nervous, but they made me feel so comfortable learning to cook their wonderful food and it was delicious. Thank you. More videos please.
Made this last night, to rave reviews. I thin sliced, crosswise, two chicken breasts, and then shallow pan-fried them in a large skillet. Next time, I want to try using brown sugar or molasses instead of white sugar, to try to give the sauce a deeper flavor. One person said he loved how crispy it was, to him I said thats why the Pangs said you have to make it at home. Another person loved that it wasnt too sweet. Its definitely an effort to do, but so worth it, its already been added to the chicken list on the menu sheet!
Best tip for crispy General Tso (or really any similar “saucy fried chicken” dish). Just don’t toss the stuff in the sauce. Put the sauce on the side. Crispy for days
I had my dinner an hour ago and you guys are making me hungry again! General Tso's chicken is by far my favorite Asian dish! I have never made it completely from scratch, but now that I know how to do it, I might be thinking about doing that in the future!
When he was removing the fried chicken, I was waiting for father to hit son’s hands with the chopsticks, a la the 70’s Shaw Brothers training montage scenes. LOVE the interplay between them, and I will be making this recipe.
This was awesome! I'm definitely going to make this! General Tso's chicken is my favorite Chinese dish. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us all!
I am gluten sensitive. I've not had this dish in years and it used to be my favorite. Thank you for posting this, I just substitute gluten free replacements and it turned out amazing. Your sauce was better than the premade store bought sauce. Everyone loved this meal
Definitely trying the recipe this coming weekend. Nice breakdown of the steps, making it appear very novice friendly. The interaction between the Pangs is wonderful. This takes things from "just another cooking video" into thoroughly enjoyable territory. Well done! Congratulations ! Please make more!
My favorite also, so yummy. I have twice gotten takeout and was given orange chicken instead of general tso’s chicken. Not the same. Thank you for the instruction how to make my own. Love the father son videos.
These guys need to be on their pbs shows too!! Want more Chinese dishes!! Won Ton Soup, Egg Drop Soup, Sweet Sour Soup. Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, Chicken n Broccoli, Mongolian Beef, Chicken Fried Rice, Shrimp Fried Rice. Lo Mein Noodles with Chicken. And on and on.. Now!!!
We need more videos of these two. PLEASE.

These two are gold! The Dad is absolutely adorable!

This needs to be a regular series. They are fantastic!
What a wonderful video. The father son interplay was heart warming. And I learned how to make a delicious Chinese American chicken dish. Thank you ATK.
Father son is awesome! Being from an immigrant family this is familiar. Dad, has an accent, son sounds like he should be on the evening news!
Love listening to your Dad talk, he sounds like a great Dad

I love Papa Pang. He so sweet and gentle. Looks so yummy.
The most ICONIC DUO
This is by far one of my favorite episodes. The food looks and sounds amazing, and a perfect dynamic with you and your father. Mom would only enhance it.
Wish you two had your own show
I wish this father son team would become a regular on an already great ATK series.
The younger gentleman is extremely well spoken

General Tso Chicken is my favorite takeout dish. The Pangs’ version definitely looks very appetizing. I have to try their recipe!

He's baaaaaaaack!!!!! Love Hunger Pangs. Making this tomorrow. So much hope we don't have as long an interval before the next episode.

I watch these to glean the father’s wisdom. And today’s message: be patient. Ahhh! I can handle such wisdom, Sir. Thank you!
General Tao’s chicken is my absolute favorite!

Maybe one day. ☺
Kevin has a fantastic voice.
Yes we need a new show with these two!
Dad was low key savage to Kevin.
Kevin "While other kids were playing arcade videogames and buying books, I was..."
Dad "Buying KFC." 🤣🤣🤣
Kevin "😐"
Oh my, you made me hungry. I’ve always wanted an authentic recipe and now I have one. Thank you both.
Love this father & son team!! This chicken looks sooooo good.

Actually, it’s an easy fix and delicious. I’ve never eaten this recipe anywhere. Highly recommended
