Txs for your company , I bought your pattern, its very pretty . I Hope you find your road . Sometimes its just following instincts and not overthinking . Love Cindy
Sorry you've been sick. I hope you had a lovely birthday 🎉. The birthday wool you got is stunning. I think Jillian Eve has tutorials on how to keep the colors true when carding. Her videos here on TH-cam are amazing and so helpful. Happy knitting 💚🧶💚
I am excited for the toe up sock pattern, I have not made a pair yet, I only have done heel flap and gusset, so I do want to try toe up, I ❤ your bud design. You are very clever! I have the Barbouro blouse pattern, but I would not think about adjusting it, so good for you!
Great episode! I have been working on a vanilla sock with a coloured heel and toe (to use up scrap yarn) whilst watching. Your clips of the wild garlic at the end (it's usually called wild garlic, ramps, or ramson in English) were so lovely and made me quite jealous! I lived in the UK for 6 years and foraged for it every spring, but I moved back home to Canada (British Columbia) in 2022 and I miss it so much! I am learning some of the local herbs to forage for here, but nothing is quite as special to me as wild garlic.
Lovely podcast, your sock patterns are beautiful. Sorry you've been ill, we had that cough also, and thought it would never go away ( we live in the UK )
Your pesto looked delicious! Today I got my wish to be able to walk outside with only putting my shoes on (Southern Ontario). So nice, finally! Your Barbroe Sweater is beautiful and the sleeve increase modifications looked so good
I've experienced the same! I had a cough for 6 weeks and did something with my ribs two times! It still hurts when I get up from bed. 😀Thanks for all the tips for knitting colourwork socks. I've tried like 2 times and it's just… urghhh, you know, I can't put them on! But with your tips, I might come from my comfort zone and maybe even try your pattern!
I'm looking forward to making the fiorellini socks - this pattern seems wellsuited to a more rustic yarn so not exactly sure what I'll use yet but such a cute pattern. What a treat to visit Lana al Pascolo - just checked out the website. Thanks for the video coverage of that area - so beautiful. Take care of yourself please!
You don't have to buy carders or combs. Yes, they will combine the colors a lot and make it one blended color. You can get a dog/cat slicker brush for a few dollars and flick it open instead of carding or combing. You'll keep the color intact better since you'll just pull off a bit then tap it (not a brushing movement, just a tap) with the brush to open it up. Try to keep the amount you pull off the same as the staple length. Good luck
Regarding the Stella Quilt cushion: Couldn't you just knit the whole back piece in one and just do garter stitch if you don't enjoy the process of making the squares? I imagine this would look quite nice and it would be a whole lot easier (and also quicker to make).
Yup you’re right, it would be the simplest option! But I think I won’t have enough of the cream yarn :( and now I can’t take out the version I described from my head! I think it will look cool on both sides 😀
thanks for the video, I really like your socks and the knitted top, cant wait to see it finished! hai mai provato a mettere dei pinoli nel pesto? yummy!

Glad you're feeling better 💛 Your Barbroe blouse is STUNNING, I can't wait to see it finished!!
I would love the pattern. Enjoyable podcast.😂
Blessings.
I want to knit socks but want to knit flat. Wishing for some cool patterns 😊
I think there is a pair of socks that is knit flat in the 52 weeks of socks vol. 2!

It’s such a delight! The first time I smelled it on a hike my mind was blown 😂 and now I want to cast on a scrap yarn sock!!

Thanks!! I think we are not the only ones! Something is definitely going around. I hope you feel better now :)
It's always nice to see you! 😍 That Barbroe Blouse is on my wishlist, so I'll be visiting your ravelry project page when I finally get my hands on it.
That may be my sign to start using Ravelry to document my projects again hahah I haven’t done so in a long time but would like to start again!

Ahh the joy of leaving the winter boots behind in spring!! And thank you 🥰

Yes a nice rustic yarn would look so nice with the Fiorellini! 😊

You could try steaming the fibre to open it up. Then pre draft the fibre

Thanks so much for the tip! I think I even have one of those brushes.. just need to find it!

You can just tease the roving with your hands, rip it into a length, and divide into 3 , then tease open the thirds! That should do enough.
Thanks for the tip!! 😊

Thank you!! 🥰 Di solito uso anche dei pinoli ma non ne avevo :(
We call wild spring garlic :: ramps.
