I consider Wipeout 2048 to be a great pick up and play game. In fact, that would probably apply to most racing games.
Indeed; racing games in general for sure. I love doing that with ridge racer. Sometimes I just want to play for 15 minutes or so
That's why I chose Motorstorm RC, cause I think its kinda overlooked.

Same I just got a vita and I’ve been binging on videos to see what games to snag.
I've been playing a lot of Silent Hill: Book of Memories lately. It's one of the few games I've played that has pick up and play elements, but can still have a lot of time grinding.
I really need to finish that game.
@@PSVitaat2am Me too! I've had it for a few years, and I play so rarely that I'm only on zone 8. Pyramid Head is pretty tough, and I can't progress til I can beat him.
They all look fun to play, too bad I'm busy fanboying over Sonic 1/2 on Vita if y'know what I mean

I don't typically get into rogue-likes but I freaking love Nuclear Throne. For a while that was my go-to for something quick and fun with no bullshit.

I usually pick up and play persona 4 dancing. I've been playing it very often, i need to get better..
The soundtrack is perfect!
Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus for me. Fast paced action, difficult gameplay, a story I couldn't care any less about. Perfect for me.
Its just right for on the go!
My fav pick-up and play is the Sky Force Anniversary, to this day my favourite top-down shooter!

Very early in the Vita's life, Motorstorm RC was given out free in North America. I don't vividly remember, but it may have been a very small window where it was free... like for a day or something. I jumped on that and was very happy with the game. Definitely a quality racing game.

I wish we got a motor storm like the ps3 game rather than an RC game. Don’t appreciate the controls they did! If it’s not broke don’t fix it

If your patient enough killzone mercenaries botzone has 10 minute matches or if got a longer lunch like around an hour the jak and Daxter collection is a cool open world game

Yeah unfortunately its Japan Only for Vita, though you can get it on Steam.
I bought Xenon Valkyrie+ and Riddled Corpses Ex on a sale today! (paid only about $4)
It's actually quite funny, because it seems like the only Vita games that still get discounts in my region are the ones that come as a cross-buy bundle.

It does, makes me feel like a kid again!
I still love my vita, lately I've been playing my switch more (blame hades, that game is for reeeeeal addictive). I also still think there are a lot more games on the vita that I like than on the switch, I just love them both for handheld gaming, and there are so many features missing from the switch that at times make it feel a LOT older than the vita. That's why I'll never completely give it up as well, and even when they fully end support for it, IF they ever stop the ability to earn trophies I will homebrew it with love and out of appreciation for the system, more than I can say sony ever showed us enthusiasts of the system.
The switch needs an achievement system of some kind, it's literally the only gaming platform that doesn't have any form of this and I find it good not for bragging rights but if there is a game I truly love I will aim for the platinum to show how much I liked it, or if I want to spend more time in a game world I find achievements good little challenges to aim for that I wouldn't normally or take me out of my comfort zone. They have only ever improved my skill in genres I don't normally play.
It also needs system voice chat, claiming that because it's also for kids and that they shouldn't have access to it or that they want to keep you "in the game" are both lies, and they contradict both constantly, offering a voice chat app for some games on a phone? That just proves they approve of it at the same time poor shaming and lending to peer pressure amongst kids, yeah I remember what it was like in primary school, if you didn't have something, you never heard the end of it, and it was bullying. Nintendo need to realise the situation they could create for those people.
Messaging and a proper friends list that isn't completely backwards would be amazing too.
Until nintendo figure out 2006 then I'll never get rid of my trusty vita :).

Can you tell me what that game is at 00:14 and 5:53 in this video. It has combat characters fighting, and it looks so cool! I assume (you know what they say when you assume) that it was a Japan only release, because I've never seen that game before. The title is also in (once again I assume) Japanese, so I can't read the title. I need that game for my Vita, no matter what it takes.

@@PSVitaat2am Holy cow! I already own both Soul Sacrifices. I guess it was the commercial advertisement with real people, that threw me off. I've only played the 1st one, way back when it came out. I always meant to play Delta, but I have so many games. I have 5 64gb memory cards, jam packed with 100's of digital Vita games. It's difficult to get through my Vita backlog list. I pick up a copy of that game when I went to the Philippines 3yrs ago, I bought it for 1500 pesos, ($30). It comes with some digital downloads but the code wasn't redeemable here in North America.

Is the shoot em up one at the end available on physical card?
No. It was (is?) free on PSN for PS4 and was only available as a bonus download code for Vita with the first print run of the "Is it Wrong to Try to Pick up Girls in a Dungeon" dungeon crawler in Asia I believe. Even if you got the code you would need an Asian region PSN account to download it.

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace is a monster hunter clone based off the MMORPG Ragnarok online from the early 2000s.
It is Mission based that can range from very quick maybe 5 minutes to the average mission is about 10 or 15 minutes and even some longer ones taking an hour+.
It kept me well entertained for over 300 hours playing with my fiance, me on Vita and her on the PS3. Every now and again I jump on and still find some random people playing.

By far my favorite pick up and play games for the system would have to be Luftrausers, Hotline Miami, and Rouge Legacy. Just started playing Downwell and that pretty fun so far too.

The only way at this point is if you have a Japanese count and can get it via the store, or on a hacked vita.

In the same style of that Danmachi game, there's Konosuba: Attack of the Destroyer! Autoscrolling shootem up, blast through hordes of enemies, its really great mindless fun.
I'd also say something like Project Diva F/F2nd, IA/VT and Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit. Rhythm games are just really easy to figure out and perfect for killing a few minutes while jamming out.
Its funny, originally it was a toss-up between Danmachi and Konosuba for me.
I was looking at all the "Vita Channels" I am subscribed to. This channel and "2 old 4 gaming" are the only 2 still making Vita content. Thank You!!!
