We are travelling north still! We head to kununurra and answer some frequently asked questions. A quick stopover in Fitzroy crossing and how good is our first big storm in the wet season. Bryce is back to work for a couple of weeks, and enjoying the kimberly lifestyle.

You guys talked about the stifling heat, the 250k plus crew never mention heat nor humidity it's all roses.. Then I saw the young girl all over you. Kids know good from bad and she was so happy to see you. Obviously your a champion of a bloke. You can't fake that stuff.

Keep up the good work, very pleased to see you made it safely to Kununurra, As previously noted we had the worst experience of our 10 years of caravanning, 10 kids smashing our neighbours door with a hammer at 2am, be very wary of Fitzroy River and Halls Creek, completely agree with using a 3 way Fridge, we have a Tropical Rated 3 way, works a treat

Thanks again guys, also agree with power. We only have two panels on our roof but have a compressor fridge. Always run out of water before power when off grid for few weeks at a time anyway. No issues and no big energy source required. Also have an inverter to our car battery for coffee machine, if I want one. We stick to the “KISS” method, after all that’s all part of the experience hey 👍 stay safe.

A pot of boiling water sorts them mongrel toads out. Get an old drum or a 2nd hand pot, when it's cooled you can bin them.
(for the big ones a 3 Iron is ideal)
Love Kununurra we were there last year and looking forward to going back, enjoy the wet and keep enjoying life you guys are the best.

Another great video and so informative as well. I was concerned about only having 2 solar panels and 2 batteries, although we don't have an inverter, but after what you have said about power, you're right and I don't think I'll worry about it anymore. Thanks for your assistance. Love Bryce curling the hose - it made me laugh because I think everyone has the same issues with that particular hose. Why is that?

After a 20 year hiatus. I got a van and start my new adventures next month. You vid has me excited to start. Great fun. We might just pick up some work along the way and keep on moving. 😃

I would love to see a WikiCamps map of your trip. I’m just planning our trip starting in May 2023. From nsw, qld, not, Darwin, Perth . And suggestions as to which direction to travel. We have plans in brisbane for a couple of weeks, so that’s our first point of call. Great videos too guys. And I too must study the menu of a restaurant before I try anything, doesn’t necessarily mean I order what I’ve planned, and lots of time I end up with food envy.

We are also traveling in western Australia in Denmark at the moment. You must be getting some high temps in December. it's cool down in the south west area. FYI cane toads are poisonous so I wouldn't touch them. Safe travels.

3 way fridge is so underrated, mine works perfect with a few mods. I run mine on the inverter while driving. Stays on. 0 day and night.

We find the GoPro super easy and versatile. If you want to talk lots to the camera then id suggest getting the Media Mic attachment from GoPro also.

Hey mate, our ATM is 2.5t and we are about that most of the time. Wouldn't want to tow too much more but it's definitely possible, I would look at a tune and a throttle controller 👍

Good video guys but I have to disagree with one thing, I try to not even stop for fuel in Fitzroy crossing and halls creek. Beautiful area but shithole towns.
Are you planning to stay on the road. Why not remove caravan ad stickers and get some of your own. And are you planning something big
Yes we have been travelling for almost 3 years now. We don't have any plans to slow down.

You can do the exact same trip in a Hyundai Getz and a tent.
That is correct.
Doesn't matter what you travel in. You can still see all these amazing places :)
