There should have been a half hour segment just on that Triplex. That thing is mind blowing. What an incredible model. The Yellowstone is pretty bad ass as well.
I grew up in a small town in India and during my vacations, i would go to another town to spend time with my grandma and cousins, Kurseong, that was a few hours away. The place still has operational steam train service, and the sound of this mini steam engine is exactly alike to what i would hear as a kid. Reminded me of my very happy childhood days.
Wow! What a thrill to find this type of railroad museum so close to me in Orange County, just an 11hr and 21 minute drive. We’ll plan to come as soon as possible.
This is just awesome. Absolutely fantastic trains, the volunteers there are just fantastic people who have done, and will be doing so much for everyone and it’s a beautiful location. Toot toot!
i absolutely loved all the trains there, but the one that stood out to me the most was the Rio Grande narrow gauge class K36 Mikado no.483, next triennial, could you please, and i;m asking this very seriously, but could you please get a 5 or 10 minute segment on that masterpiece and the incredible performance on that train? Mainly because the full sized one it is based off has some pretty mind blowing history during its final days as a D&RGW veterain. I would deeply appreciate it if you could do this in another one of your videos
Really impressive railroad museum and very nice videos! However, a small technical request: Please de-interlace the raw video footage and upload it to TH-cam again. Those many interlacing artifacts are quite disturbing. Thanks!
I agree. Unfortunately the intermediate codec that this project was saved in didn't bode well for our normal process of deinterlacing. If I still had the original project and its raw video files it would be a simple fix.
I don't know how those over seas people can run the steam locos in the u.s. they have to be boiler certified to run in public place, plus insurance. For something like this event it would be easier to have just a diesel model to run.

We missed you by less than a mile when we drove down #62 in 2002. Damn!! 😥😥

Great video . Have a great week end .
I took my 1 1/2 " diesel there. Great place! If you get a chance, go!

Thank you for your WWII service. My dad was a WWII veteran also. I am a Vietnam veteran. I loved all three parts of this wonderful video!
Thanks for sharing this, they have come a long way sine I saw a video on them a few years ago. I hope I can visit there from South Africa one day!
This series has been really fun to watch. Will definitely have to plan a visit!
Maybe one of these days I will ride the Sumpter Valley R&R
Those ground level clips look like forty-foot tall people riding trains.
Fantasties super !!
It looks like a fun time!!
Very cool!
I love the turbo diesel in that Y class engine.
AHHHHHHH THE POWER OF STEAM!!!
11:56 I didn't know Southern Railway 1401 model is featured! Wish this engine is mentioned!

I like the Union Pacific 844 & 828 FEF class Northerns
I had a few slip ups down there this year. Mostly 2 major derailments.
Awesome ❤️🚂😎👍👍
You should make a video on the Union Pacific 844
Would have loved to see a Monon.
Man’s really pulled out a GG1

Is there not better steel or metal that can be used for the track
America. !!!!!
Are the sleepers made of concrete? Are they 7 1/4 gauge track
Are they of the same dimensions like the wooden sleepers
ties (sleepers) likely made of plastic on the 7 1/2" gauge track
Can you send me the way to train mountain.
Back when coal wasn't a dirty word...
Why is your triennial
where is this at?
🥰👍🥰👍🥰👍
Where does this take place
Near the small town of Chiloquin, Oregon
