This is pretty neat. You use the uke in it's most basic way...chording accurately & keeping time while you sing. And your singing is truly the best part, making each and every one of these songs (fresh enough) not to sound overdone. Nice work!

@@Thisiskamsyt I dont play ukulele much anymore so it would probably be a hastle too no matter how much I want to, especially because of not being able to go to lessons because 1. money 2. covid 3. horrible social anxiety, like I'd rather bang my head on the wall very hard multiple times than have to have a 15 minutes conversation with someone. I also accidentally broke my ukulele tuner so my mom and I would have to get a new one...
@@nightorchid5031 I’m so sorry about your situation I hope everything turns out! And it’s okay if you can’t afford lessons. I mostly do it for fun so I don’t go to lessons. But for your tuner situation, there are apps and websites out there that do a relatively decent job as a tuner. And I also can somewhat relate with what you’re going through. I may not be able to relate completely, but I know how it feels to just completely shut down and panic when being with or talking to people. I struggle with that a lot as well. Just remember that you are loved, and you will overcome it. Wish you the best :)

I kind of expected "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" and "Rainbow Connection" to be on this list. The first song was originally recorded with ukelele. The second was recorded with a banjo, but I think it translates well to uke. "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" is a given, thanks to that Israel guy. Every time I hear his version, it makes me cry. He redefined that song. Some songs just sound like they're made for playing on the uke.

@@nightorchid5031 learn it just for the fun of it! It’s a pretty easy song to learn esp for beginners! It’s overplayed mostly because it’s a beginner song and because it’s pretty we’ll known.
@@Thisiskamsyt I dont play ukulele much anymore so it would probably be a hastle too no matter how much I want to, especially because of not being able to go to lessons because 1. money 2. covid 3. horrible social anxiety, like I'd rather bang my head on the wall very hard multiple times than have to have a 15 minutes conversation with someone. I also accidentally broke my ukulele tuner so my mom and I would have to get a new one...
@@nightorchid5031 I’m so sorry about your situation I hope everything turns out! And it’s okay if you can’t afford lessons. I mostly do it for fun so I don’t go to lessons. But for your tuner situation, there are apps and websites out there that do a relatively decent job as a tuner. And I also can somewhat relate with what you’re going through. I may not be able to relate completely, but I know how it feels to just completely shut down and panic when being with or talking to people. I struggle with that a lot as well. Just remember that you are loved, and you will overcome it. Wish you the best :)

I kind of expected "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" and "Rainbow Connection" to be on this list.
The first song was originally recorded with ukelele. The second was recorded with a banjo, but I think it translates well to uke.
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" is a given, thanks to that Israel guy. Every time I hear his version, it makes me cry. He redefined that song.
Some songs just sound like they're made for playing on the uke.
