Salaam,
We will be traveling from the Dallas to Dubai and from Dubai to Jeddah and getting to Jeddah 4 days before the Hajj.
Do we need to do the Umrah the same day we land in Jeddah and change my Ihram in Dubai
OR
Can we get to the Makkah hotel and start the Umrah process the next day after the rest and with sound mind.
Please Advice.

WA Alaikum as Salam wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuhu
You need to enter the Ihram before reaching Jeddah (they announce the Miqat) but you can rest and do Umrah the next day but you have to take care of the prohibitions of Ihram
