Well done Kevin. I like to search The Voice in many countries and find a song then see what is on the ribbon at the side etc and see where it takes me. I have found some spectacular blind auditions. I'm in the UK and watched your audition thinking he could be good. I remember saying to my wife when you started to sing...... He has a good voice and tone..... then at the 123 123 drink part I said. Good power at the low notes/talking part and when you hit that first belting note it was WOW. Really well done and I know you will be great. Cheers from Scotland
Watched it on TV ...rewound it .... at least 17 times consecutively to watch again and again. Tears fell down "in a good way " just because of your perfect vocals and the "passion" (hate that commonly used word now but it does actually sum it up). I can't be bothered with the so called critics. Who probably can't even sing a note. And wouldn't even have the gumption to wail in a karaoke contest. Your audition was fantastic. Great song ...great voice. And I'm still watching it on TH-cam....good luck.

You must be very proud, of this audition and for your past too! There are plenty of people (like myself) who well knew who you are and how great you were in the band, no matter what they think. Kevin Simm was on a completely different level with this rendition. 7 years later and it still moves me
Oh, thank goodness! At last someone who was able to rise above this season's problems. Kevin's excellent microphone technique may have been his saving grace here, not to play down his extraordinary talent, but look at how he leans away at 29s and in again at 32s and note the effect that has. This is a guy who didn't have to be told to do that, and those two passages hit home equally because of his natural ease on stage and on mic. Technically this was a confident and artistic performance by a creative interpreter, and a consummate professional. I think we might just have seen the season winner!

That is raw emotion in his voice. You might wonder what separates good singers from great singers? Well for me, the great ones make you feel something when they sing. This dude has that in spades. What a performance.

I hadn't even heard the original before this (I'm not a big fan of Sia, not only do I think she's an overrated gimmick merchant but she's embarrassingly an almost 60 year-old who took ten years off her age and covers her face to appeal to young audiences) so when I heard the original I was really disappointed compared to this performance.

This was THE standout performance of all music competitions ever for me... What a stunning voice and a thoroughly nice man. You have already won whatever the outcome.
I'll be waiting to see how the other contestants develop. I prefer to see someone without years of experience and training to grow than see an already polished performer on shows like these.

None of the words or the emotion can describe this magical performace.. Loved the respect which Ricky depicted by standing up in the mid of the performance..

I still watch this. it has to be one of the most emotive auditions I've ever seen on TV, and on so doing, said he should win. So glad for him that he did. personally think better than original version.

Kevin Simm's humility almost matches his extraordinary voice, I think that what ever happens this man has the possibility of a great (even greater) career, as a singer.. he needs the right songs and a catalog of them, but as a person I think he has won the nation.. good luck .. I have watched this extraoadinary audition at least 30 times and it still amazes me. I never ever thought Kevin Simm could sing LIKE THAT!!! It has to be one of the greatest vocals I have ever heard, especially from a man. This cover is outstanding and beats the original. He is extremely likeable, humble, with a lovely family. He absolutely deserves this chance to make it on his own and, given the hugely positive reaction and, with the right support and songs, he will do wonders. A voice like his deserves to be heard all over the world and fully appreciated. Kevin - you are fantastic - keep your positive approach.
Recovering from a foot op and randomly thought what was the best voice audition I’ve ever witnessed. It’s was this by far!

By far still the best blind audition ever
This audition was the 2nd 4 chair turner this season, which shows the coaches are looking for amazing talent to coach. But this guy has got IT. What a fantastic song choice and arrangement. The use of light and shade, his amazing tone, his range, everything just pure crystal. My favourite audition so far
I have this Voice programme on in the background whilst doing something else usually in the kitchen. First time I've actually come in and sat down to watch somebody. Been in tears. I'm nearly 60, what am I doing crying over some soppy song?!! Totally moved. It's been emotional, as Vinnie Jones would say. There is something seriously wrong with the modern music business if a performer with talent like Mr Simm's can be ignored whilst there is such trash on the tele and radio and every other media format every day. He deserves a massive "Well Done" for having the faith in his own abilities and talent, as well as being humble to put himself up for possible failure too on a programme like The Voice, to want to pursue his career in music regardless of the past experiences in the business. Bloody amazing. I hope he is a HUGE success, HUGE. Little things like listening to him sing tonight makes life worthwhile. Thank you for making me happy (and tearful!) Kevin. Good luck, peace.

Recently seen this guy performing as the new lead singer for wet wet wet. The brotherhood in the band is so awesome to see. His vocals as usual are on another level. Come back here to see the moment he reminded us all, why he is where he is today.
