Very nice Vladimir! I tie most of my streamers with bucktail (I am heavily influenced by Bob Popovics book "Fleye Design") and, like you prefer a sparse, translucent fly with a built-in taper. I fish 4 to 12 cm streamers that match the local forage minnows for Smallmouth Bass, Walleyes and Pike in the lakes here in Canada. Cheers! Hank
Hey. I just watched this video from years ago with this very nice saltwater streamer. Hopefully you put that fly to good use with one of those tarpon caught in other videos. I’m kicking around a Bahamas or Belize trip sometime next year. Since catching my first permit I feel that I have to do it again!
Thank you. Now i am doing those a bit differently. Easier way. Without reverse tying. Its probably my most effective salt streamer. I gave some bigger ones to my friend to fish in Maldives and he was more than 😊 Catching permit, bones, GT, decent barracuda and other fish is my big desire. Oh, and roosters too. They look amazing
@@Oholisfliesandfishing That sounds really nice! When my wife retires, in a few more years, we want to go to the Maldives for a couple weeks. We’ll mix my fishing and her vacationing things together. Should be lots of fun.
@@Oholisfliesandfishing Yes, thank you for the heads up. We’re doing our research now. We’ll have an agent put an itinerary together for us, including all logistics and a fishing guide, to make sure we can do the things we want with minimal hassles. It’s a big trip to a remote place, we definitely need to plan very carefully and for contingencies. I can’t stop thinking about bending my 12 weight on a GT heading for Sri Lanka on a fly that I tied myself,… paradise! And swimming in the Indian Ocean too. 🌴🐟

Gamakatsu SC15 size 1\0. But i use bigger and smaller depending on streamer size
