Compatibility:

My V3 Inverted set came with one of those little black L pieces and I had no idea what it was for lol, ended up just being extra careful, no broken wires that I'm aware of :D
After spending $370 + $85 shipping USD they want us to spend another $30 USD for a package of compression pieces that fix the soft brake feel, something that should have been included? Thanks Fanatec!
I mean… you do get a fantastic pedal set, with a good clutch feel and vibrators.
I just upgraded to a handbrake and there I bought the kit for my pedals.
Its insane the shipping costs the same as the product itself!
I just ordered wheelbase, pedals and wheel. Saw the brake accesory, thought nah. Now that I seen more reviewsI regret it. To Canda shipping 40 USD, so its more than twice the price of the brake kit. lol
Im useless at this sort of thing. With the tool it only took me a couple of attempts to get bolt right through. I did put some grease under tool to make it slide a bit easier. From taking pedals off rig, installing kit and putting pedals back on took me about 40 minutes. Im sure the average Joe will have no problems with installation and do it a lot quicker than I.
I recommend WD40 High performance White lithium grease as oppose to what comes with kit. Far better and lasts forever.
I'm also a useless person in these things, thanks for motivating to overcome my laziness to replace the elastomers. :D I will do it soon.
Edit: I did it, it was way easier than I thought it would be. Although it wouldn't be me if I wouldn't screw up at least once, I've installed back the piston in the wrong way around and I only realized it when the rod was in place, but the screw was in the wrong direction towards the vibration motor and I had to take it apart again. :D
After installing It 3 Times im not able to push the brake anymore. Is this normal and the brake will work wenn plugged in ?
Hello, sorry for my English, I have a question: Could the throttle and clutch be repositioned to make them inverted? That is, the throttle take them to the left and the clutch to leave it on the right. It would simply be to remove them from the piston and exchange them.

wish mine installed that easy, my grub screws rounded out first try and was never able to remove them
yep i just rounded mine out too i tested it on the clutch first and had no problen then it came to undoing the break screw and yeeeeeeeeep rounded it off ,these screws are made of shit ,did ya get it off in the end? the break screw is in so fucking tight

I really hope my new v3 pedals works with my new podium f1 wheel, I been out of commission last year , my old fanatec pedals stop working with my new podium f1 steering wheel direct drive.
Well... It was not that easy for me : ( I tried to install the hardest mix and could not get the pedal back in place. I hope i did not broke the abs cable in the process cause the little tool just jumped out.
Definitely use the two stiffest ones. I had 13green and 12 red for a while and it was not enough both 13green is best
That tool should help the install so much. What about the people who didn’t recieve it when we bought the kit?
I got this last week. That tool would have taken all the headache I had when putting everything back together.

i used it with gt sport, no problems and am on a dd1 for ps4, no problems there either, just need to know the tricks.

@@85warwick yes, but check my channel. As for some features i have to do some things, 🤦♂️, its for some games and its more of a sony thing though. totally living with it.
If you actually follow the instructions, have a good quality allen wrench or driver in the right 2.5mm size then this is a super simple install that takes about 5-10 minutes to do from start to finish.
wish you told customers in advance they need a square hex tool which is not included in the box. all other product have had necessary tools provided

What size of hex tool was used to remove the screw at the beginning? I can't find the right size to it!!!
Think it's a 2.5mm but be careful I stripped mine because it was torqued far too tightly

Why are you mad about this? Did you get beat as a child, or were the pedals to complicated for you to understand and only now that they released this video were you able to get your pedals working. Tell us why you're really mad....

Is it possible to swap clutch and brake pedal placement?
No. Not in this case. I mean you can just set the brake on the clutch pedal in any game, but if you want them to swap positions you have to get the CSL Pedals LC. You can swap the pedals positions just as you want on these :)
It's not officialy supported, but it is possible as you can see on the photos here: forum.virtualracing.org/showthread.php/109621-Fanatec-CSP-V3-umbauen. The pedals are just on those round "rails" which you have to unscrew from the pedal-base, so you can swipe out the single pedals and put them back in a different order with the spacers aligned correctly between them. I will try this with my v3 pedal set too.

I can't remove it at all. I can slide the bolt a bit but can't get it out. Really annoyed.

@@droors77 I don't know if I need the performance kit since they already have very good adjustibility. All TH-cam and forums recommend them. Personaly I spent too much on toys and won't buy my dream rig until I get financially stable. By the way, what is V3 Pro?
